Where are we today ?
Texoma Shores Rv Resort, Madill Oklohoma
Today is our last day here and the weather is not really too hot. Overcast cooler (60f) and a bit of a breeze. So puts us in the mood to move on down the road. Been here for a week and we are looking forward to looking for another place to check out. Mind you this place is awesome and would come back here anytime.
One on the things with our membership parks is that we can stay one week (free) and move to the next one, but if we stay two weeks (free) we need to be out of their system for a week. And ya know suits us just fine, we like moving and are slowly making our way to Arizona (what's the rush?) We are at home wherever we are. And really like the peace and quite of these off season resorts. Don't need to be in a place thats busy with all that stuff going on.
Kind of a cool breeze, but we found spot with little wind and bits of sunshine here and there. So the we could enjoy our books outside for most of the afternoon.
I picked up a few supplies this morning while Suzie dusted and vacuumed our house and I did stuff like check the tires, secure our awning for travel, stow our Weber Q , dump our sewage and store the hoses.
Cooking inside tonight, just because I can. Suzie craved Fettucine alfredo with shrimps and scallops, a fresh caesar salad and I baked some Pillsbury biscuits in the oven to go with it. Sure hit the spot. Have not yet figured how to cook pasta on our Weber Q efficiently.
nice change from our Weber on a cool overcast day |
Thanks for stopping by to check us out.

What a great and restful last day! A little of this and a little of that...and no big rush to do anything. What a life! We were busy getting new tires today....very tiring!
ReplyDeleteSupper looked yummy!
Safe travels!
Thanks guys we are never in a rush, new tire is a good thing.
DeleteWhat? Something you CAN'T cook on your Weber? I'm shocked! ;c)
ReplyDeleteI didn't say I can't cook it on the Weber just could not figure out a way to cook it efficiently on the grill, yet.
DeleteSomeday...
ReplyDeleteSomeday we will grow up and be just like you guys!
Delicious dinner!
Don't want to ever grow up, thats when you get old, just do it, thats what we did.
DeleteSounds like the perfect way to spend the day.
ReplyDeleteSafe travels.
Every day is perfect, because that the way we want it to be.
DeleteSounds like another great day in Paradise for both of you. Glen Rose will give you lots more areas to discover in your free time.
ReplyDeleteWw have been there a couple of times and really enjoy that area too.
DeleteBIt by bit you are heading into the warmer weather. Enjoy your travel day and good luck with a great new site.
ReplyDeleteThanks.
DeleteJust the way we love to travel.
I guess just putting pasta noodles direct on the Weber grill wouldn't work, right George? Ha, ha!
ReplyDeleteNot to much, but the can be a way, I think.
DeleteYou could do Baked Spagetti on the Weber! Old recipe from my mother-in-law, very simple & very yummy!
ReplyDeleteYep I could do that, like a spaghetti casserole I have done before. would be awesome!
