Where are we today ?
Another great night's sleep, cool outside but we toasty warm inside. No frost this morning and loved my walkabouts and fresh air. No plans for today lets just hang out here and enjoy this awesome weather. Even chat with a few friendly neighbors that we have here too.

campsites by the lake are closed for the winter, no sewer anyway. |
Now after a quick bite for lunch we can enjoy a wonderful sunny warm afternoon puttering around and enjoying our books outside.
Because of the earlier sunsets we decided to enjoy an early Happy (social) Hour at 3 pm, (instead of 4pm) chat, for a while and keep in touch.
Our plan for supper tonight was salmon fillets with dill sauce and a rice pilaf. So easy to make too, for the recipe check out my other Blog " George's recipes etc.." on the side bar at the top right. Now thought it would be much more convenient to cook inside tonight with the early sunsets and slightly cooler weather. So no Weber Q tonight again! But we did have an awesome meal regardless.

The sun is shining and that makes all the difference in the world. So if it's a lazy day, that's okay too.
ReplyDeleteThe sun shine makes for an awesome day anytime.
DeleteSun shine ranks high on my list of things I really, really like. I like the fact that when I do laundry it's done and over with all at one time at the laundromats.
ReplyDeleteThats right, multiple loads all over and done in no time. While enjoying a good book.
DeleteI like the idea of starting happy hour at 3PM:)
ReplyDeleteAt this time of year its much nicer at 3 instead of 4 o'clock, so thats a good excuse.
DeleteThat's a pretty picture of the lake....love those fall colors!
ReplyDeleteThe picture of supper looked good too!
All was good here, enjoying the peace and quiet.
DeleteSounds to me like 'happy hour' starts when you get up in the morning and ends when you go to bed at night.
ReplyDeleteThat about it every hour is Happy, is there any other kind?
DeleteI love the parks you stay at. The memberships you have look to be awesome!
ReplyDeleteFor the most part these parks are quite nice. And love the prices too.
DeleteTasty looking Salmon dinner, and another perfect sounding day for you guys. Enjoyed the pic's. Just putting together a Chicken Pot Pie from our left over Weber cooked chicken, doing it Shepherd Pie style with a Potato top, first time so we will see how that works. Have a great evening!
ReplyDeleteIt was amazing again! Check my recipe blog for my chicken pot pie recipe works great for us.
DeleteLet me know how yours turns out! Sounds good too.
