Hot, sunny and quiet, loving this sunday !

Where are we today ?
Was a very warm night last night, windows open and glad we fixed our fantastic fan, ran it on low all night to create a nice cool breeze. By 9 am the sun was on our patio and we having an awesome hot day. We could sit outside for while, enjoying the heat, then looking for shade.
9 am in the sunshine was wonderful
early morning sun
We had contemplated going to the beach this afternoon, but a with a breeze there it was much nicer at home. And the water way too cool to swim anyway.
nice beach here
a fisherman over there at the end of the boat ramp
the view from our site,
clear blue skies
So after puttering around for a while and researching new door hinges for our coach, (not much luck there yet) we decided to enjoy the peace and quiet of our almost secluded campsite.
clear blue cloudless skies and
the nieghbors are not even here.
We had a nice quiet day! Could hear the rustling of the leaves in the trees and the odd bird  chirping here and there. Talk about nice and peaceful! We have not had this for a very long time and is what we really enjoy! No traffic, no planes, no trains and no people, even our neighbor was not here playing ballads for us.
Chat for a bit and really got to enjoy our books between walkabouts here and there, in the sun but mostly in the shade.
About 4 pm I fired up our Weber Q to grill a pork small loin roast, taters and a can of white corn, it is so sweet.
Thats the temp inside our coach with all
the windows open and fan going (3:57 pm), love it!
Just before supper was done Suzie called her mom and dad using her I-phone on Google +, Talk as long as she wants = free phone call. Getting to really like Google+.
5 pm, Suzie on the phone using Google+
about one hour on our Q, pork roast done, turn for about 15 minutes
after the first 15 then back with fat side up, low and slow
Naked taters about 1 hour too, can of corn, last 20 minutes
we had a wonderful sunday dinner
Now how can the days get much better than this? Quiet solitude, hot weather, sunshine and great company,(except for the lady bugs that seemed to find us), even had tasty roast pork sunday dinner too.
after supper walk by the lake,
 nice full moon
Thanks for dropping on by for a visit and enjoying this quiet day with us too, lovin it!

  2. I love the water views and the relaxing warm days. However, I can't say I'd like to have temperatures pushing 100f !!

  4. We got to 61 today but it came with wind and rain. The loud wind might keep us awake tonight. Be Safe and Enjoy!

    1. Have heated up most anything in a can on the BBQ for years, even a campfire too works great.

  6. Sure like the looks of that blue sky and those hot temps. G+ is pretty amazing the more one gets to explore and use it.
