Where are we today ?
We are having another wonderful day here. Cool nights and warm sunny days, does it get much better?A few morning walkabouts down by the lake enjoying the peaceful campground, sounds of the birds, fresh air and warm sunshine.
Then shortly after 9 am we grabbed our friends Emile and Monique and headed into Grove to visit Har ber Village and Museum Pioneer days going on this weekend, Friday and Saturday and looks like lots to do. Yep there was. So have done a separate posting for that click HERE.
Just a peak at the village. We both got thrown in Jail and then I was sent to the Gallows.
The gallows, but they could not find the noose, soo sad for them... Lucky for me. |
But with happy hour starting at 3pm it cut our reading time down. No problem, Emile had cut up some dry wood limbs and brought out their fire pit for an afternoon campfire.
Was all fired up shortly after 3 pm and then our friends Rob and Pat pulled into the resort as well. They did a quick set up and joined our friendly get together for a while and met Emile and Monique as well.

DeleteYou are right that cool nights and warm sunny days are just about perfect.
ReplyDeleteSure is nice here.
DeleteThose old jails must have been a great deterrent to crime:)
ReplyDeleteThey would, but I think the Gallows ended it quicker, when they could find the rope.
DeleteFirst being sent to the gallows for then to have that nice dinner......???? Used to be the other way around. Good for you George!
