Well this is much better, almost a heatwave compared to what we have been having, actually felt warm outside this morning and VERY foggy. The snow and freezing rain we got last night was turning to slush. By noon the temperature reached 50f (10c) almost felt like a heatwave after the last few days. And would have been much nicer if the sun was shining. Just that the ground is wet and somewhat muddy. last nights snow and ice is melting this morning |
not frozen anymore, a good thing |
A very slow foggy drive all the way there and back for both of us. And we were both back home by 3 pm.
yup its foggy |
Now our Weber Q is happy and so are we! |
now this is the way it is supposed to be |
wonderful, huge chops and lotsa leftovers too ! |
Thanks for the visit, love it when you stop on by.
As I am posting this we are having a heavy spring rain, this is the way it is supposed to be in mid April.
Check out the interactive map below to see where we have been this Fall and Winter..
I put a whole chicken on our Q fifteen minutes ago. Love that grill!
ReplyDeleteIt is amazing glad you enjoy it! It just works amazing,
DeleteWe need to another chicken soon as well.
It rained here all day and people rejoiced...lol
ReplyDeleteHope Suzie's appointment went well.
All is good here even the weather is getting better, yahoo!
DeleteLike you we took advantage of the temperatures and fired up the Weber.
ReplyDeleteSpring has arrived!
Be Safe and Enjoy!
It's about time.
It is nice to grill again.
DeleteIt sounds like spring has arrived. Glad to read the ice has thawed, nothing worse then driving on icy roads. Hope the weather trend continues. Nothing better then a heavy spring rain to make everything smell fresh. Plus, it takes care of the dirt and salt left behind from the melted snowbanks.
ReplyDeleteYup is sure is getting nicer and more so on the weekend too.
DeleteSmelling warmer and fresh, love it !
Rain is much better than snow and ice. Love pork chops on the grill with fried apples.
ReplyDeleteIt sure is much better than snow and ice. Pork chops are wonderful on the grill.
DeleteWell, I'm not so sure I'd call that a heat wave but anything is almost better than snow and ice!
ReplyDeleteWell from 14f on day to 50 f the next sure feels like a heat wave.
DeleteHmmm and I thought that 50F this morning was cool :)
ReplyDeleteWell when we are dressed for 14f , 50 f feels like a heatwave. But you were just in 90f down to 50 big difference too.
DeleteWe left a charcoal grill here years ago... you're grilling makes me want to clean out the cobwebs and fire it up.... snow's all gone (it didn't last), and I think the rain has quit.... yep... time to get out that grill. Your food always looks so delicious!
ReplyDeleteThanks Sharon love grilling our food whenever I can. The propane makes it much easier, don't have a charcoal grill anymore but do love them.
DeleteYes get that grill out !
glad to see it warming up for you two
ReplyDeleteIt is getting there, much nicer.
DeleteHope that warming trend continues....
ReplyDeleteThe forecast looks good so far.
DeleteYikes doesn't sound like spring there at the moment. Hoping things warm up for our return by the end of April!
