Much milder overnight and looking forward to more warmer temps from now on, according to the weather Gods. After an early morning cruise around the area stopped at the garage to shoot the breeze with the guys for a bit. Then home, chat with Suzie and packed a lunch for her, she off to visit her Dad at the Stratford hospital at 9:30 am. He is still improving. I wandered the countryside into Kitchener to pick up a few things home around 1pm had a bite to eat, puttered around the yard a bit more picking up more branches then got my chair out to read in the sun, out of the cool wind, was a wonderful afternoon. Quality reading time in the warm spring sunshine.

Suzie got home around 5pm and I was getting supper ready. Tonight Cod fish fillets baked in the oven with Panko bread crumbs and a salad of course. It was warm and sunny but with the strong east wind on our Weber Q I decided to do these in the oven. For the recipe click HERE or my recipe blog, top right sidebar.

After supper a wonderful visit with daughter number 2 and the grands not far from here. So nice to spend some time with them and the kids. Their energy is amazing, sure kept us busy, even got to play "Snakes and Ladders" it's been a long time since I have played that and "almost" won!

After a wonderful visit it was getting late, so time to head on home for the night. What a wonderful sunny, warmer day we had spending it with more family. And it is getting much warmer for the next few days at least too. Yeo we can handle that.
Hope y'all had a great day too and sunshine as well, Thanks for stopping by.

DeleteSometimes those typos just happen , I do them all the time.
When I was a kid it was called Chutes and ladders, and had playground type slides. I assume that the snakes work the same. It was always one of my favorites.
ReplyDeleteYup works the same, and a favorite of mine as well.
