Not much other than great weather and good food, what else is new?

Where are we today ?
Did we have a good day our what? Just more sunshine and blue skies works for us. That's what Arizona/California does for us.We are right on the edge of Arizona/ California and Mexico about 250 ft above sea level and perfect weather here.
Early this morning after coffees, computing and my walkabouts about 8:30 am headed intoYuma to pick up a few food items and back home for lunch.
Pretty hot here in the sun.
Eventually  time for the obligatory "Happy Hour" with Rob. Pat, John and Barb. We found a nice shady spot between our rigs.
we be happy for an hour
Nice here in the shade for a bit then over to our site in the sun, keeping warm.
still warm here in the sun
The sun goes down and it gets COLD!

While shopping I picked up a deal on some pork ribs for supper. Regular $25.97 , last day sale only $6.47 now how can  turn that down? We having a feast of ribs tonight.
I simmer them with sauerkraut on the Weber Q for at least an hour, add some taters on foil with onions and spices. Then put the ribs on the grill for a short while, glazed with some sticky BBQ sauce.
Add some cauliflower w/cheese and sure hit the spot
Thats was it for our day, perfect weather and fun with our friends.
Thanks again for your visit, ya'll come back now.

  2. Your rib dinner is a typical New Years Day dinner where I grew up... must have pork (or ham) and cabbage of some kind. It's supposed to bring you good luck in the coming year... throw in some black eyed peas and you'll have an even better year ;-)
