Where are we today ?
Well here we are in southern California just a couple miles from Arizona and Mexico. Sunshine, blue, cloudless skies and awesome weather. Got quite a few walkabouts the resort today, chat with lotsa friendly people. Sure do love this lifestyle.
A fellow rv''er stopped by from ontario to give Suzie her doggie fix. |
Lots of nicely decorated sites here |
Then about noon our friends Rob and Pat arrived here and snagged the site right beside us. Have not seen them for a a few weeks this winter since Oklahoma.
They got themselves settled, then after we did a facetime Christmas with my kids and grands back home in Ontario. So nice to see all three of my children, their spouses and five grandchildren get together for Christmas. Even though the weather back in southern Ontario was really brutal. (snow, freezing rain, and really just not good) But they did it and we got to enjoy todays technology, it really is amazing almost like being there.
We saw the freezing rain, ice and snow back home and then just went outside in the sunshine and then enjoyed a happy hour with our friends. Miss the families yes, but miss the snow and cold weather no! So what do we do? See them as much as we can in the summer months.
Yes we enjoy these warm sunny days, with Rob, Pat and ladygirl |
Our grill doing its job |
add a sliced tomato and really hit the spot |
that's me and Suzie |

ReplyDeleteOh yes can sit out side here in shorts, my kind of Christmas weather.
DeleteLove the Christmas spirit that is following you! It's encouraging that I can still celebrate in warm temperatures. My husband tells me so but having not done it, I can't even imagine what it will be like! :)
ReplyDeleteWe have enjoyed it for many years, pretty easy to enjoy the Christmas spirit when you are not cold and housebound, with so many like minded snowbirds all around you.
