Sunshine, hot and our last day here, before it gets cold again!!

Where are we today ?
Our last day here and what do we do? Not much, the usual coffee's, computing and walkabouts. Enjoying this wonderful hot weather here. Frost overnight again and 81f  (27c) by noon.
Along the trails by the rivers (three of them here) so quiet and peaceful just love it.

egret
Big fish in the river
a couple in their kayak
Then of course we can enjoy this great day reading our books (in the shade). Now thats after we got our chores done. Check tires and oil etc..,dump sewage, store our hoses, Suzie vacuum and dust our house. We can relax only takes a few minutes anyway.
another awesome day here, we lovin it
Now to enjoy our mini happy hour, then I can prep supper. Hook up our Fry Daddy to cook up a mess of catfish I picked up at the store. The Weber to keep it warm then we add to some potato salad, tossed salad and celery and carrrot sticks
keeping warm on our Q
Only takes a few minutes to fry up the fish and we are good to go.
sure hit the spot
A few things wrapped up afterwards now we can relax for the evening. We hitting the road in the morning to Midland Texas (a Walmart there has a spot for us).  And just in time we are leavng the area, look at the weather forecast below, could be snow here on Friday!
We may hit some weather along the way but as long as the roads are good we will be in Arizona Friday morning.
weather coming here so we can leave now
We had a perfect day here, but two weeks in one spot we are ready to hit the road, just in time by the looks of it.
Wanna thank y'all for stopping by today and hope you had a great one too!

  1. That's a sensible thing to do. Get as south as you can. I figure this winter will be a weird one. Cold air is swooping all over the place. Even California gets it by the end of the week.
I like the comment about the hearing aids. Just turn them off if the noise is too bad! I would have to put on ear mufflers. LOL

    1. No ear mufflers for me, not needed any more. I wish I did!
So far this fall has been weird so assume the winter will be too.

  2. As usual, your dinner looks delicious. Have a safe trip and enjoy your visit with Butterbean. Wish we'd had time to stop by his place when we were headed to ABQ a few months ago.

  6. We had a gorgeous day here yesterday and today is to be the same. I can't believe the difference tomorrow is going to make. I fly back to Ohio tomorrow...leave here in rain, arrive there in snow...oh dear.

    Safe travels.
