Sunshine, blue skies and warm temps, all is good here.....

Where are we today ?

Pilot Knob Resort, Winterhaven California

         Now we had a great nights sleep , mild weather here, no heater and no furnace last night and a few windows open. No wind, no rain, no dampness really love this desert place. Oh yeah no crowds and no traffic too.

        No awesome sunrise this morning but I got a few walkabouts early enough to check it out. Finally at 9 am they have fresh baked cinnamon rolls at the clubhouse. only $1.25 each.

        Now I was there before 9 and lined up with few people and chatted for 5 minutes. Spent all our money and brought home one Monster bun for Suzie and I to share with the rest of our coffee.

Such a tasty treat

         Got that out of the way and I made quick trip to Yuma pick up a few supplies at Fry's grocery store . Got some deals and we are good to go for a day or two.

        A bite to eat for lunch and chat with a few neighbors around the park. next door, across the way, people we have met before and people from Ontario that are here.

        Next on the agenda was to take a drive and see if we can find RVsue and her Canine crew not too far way. She said we could drop by, but did not have proper directions so just drove around the desert searching for a while and came back home. Maybe another day we try again, she is so close, yet so far away in this desert. Have proper directions now so hope we can meet her before she leaves the area.

Back home enjoyed this Beautiful blue sky
and warm Arizona Temperatures.

          Then time to fire up our Weber Q 100, Grill a Cornish Hen and potato slices, add some cauliflower and broccoli with cheese sauce and we have a heavenly supper.

       Not real exciting but suited us to a T, sure  kept us going for the day.
