Hey!! Merry Christmas to everybody out there.

Where are we today ?
Another awesome day here, but that is kind of typical for this area. Blue skies, no clouds and temps about 73 f (24c). Night time about 50f great for sleeping. Can't beat that with a stick can you?
sunrise over Pilot Knob
love the cactus here
Early morning coffees and walkabouts and I caught a bit of the sunrise coming up by Pilot Knob.
Then about 8 am we headed into Yuma with Rob and Pat, to meet John and Barb for breakfast at the Cracker Barrel. And had a fun time enjoying a tasty breakfast, a bit early for us to eat a big meal but we did manage. It was tasty but you really can't screw up a breakfast much. I had whipped up over a million breakfasts in my 10 years running my own restaurant. Sure wish I could have sold them for todays prices!

nice flowers here of the bees
Love this ringer washer with a gas engine,
great for dry camping!
Then across the road to check out Bealls outlet and back home before noon. Enjoying this wonderful weather. Nope we did not buy anything.
Now puttering around and just enjoying the wonderful weather and our books in the shade. 85F inside our coach.
On Rob and Pat's site ( next door) they are cooking the Christmas Turkeys and hams here for Christmas dinner. Fire pit getting ready.

At 3:30 pm John and Barb returned here to join us for happy hour. Smoked salmon appys, shrimp and dip, crackers and a few pretzels, kind of rounded off our afternoon with lively conversation on a Christmas eve afternoon. Worked out really great for all of us.
smoked salmon appetizers, were awesome !

That was it for our fun Christmas eve day. Hope ya'll had a great one too.
Thanks for stopping by today and would like to wish everybody out there a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
Oh forgot to mention we left our roof vent open so Santa can make his way inside, tonight!

  4. i hate to tell you this, but I can mess up a breakfast. I cannot cook an egg worth a hill of beans. Jim loves eggs and learned very early on that if he wanted an edible one he would have to be the breakfast cook. So I gladly let him take over. The sun felt so good today. Have a Merry Merry very wonderful Christmas.

    1. Well I am talking about restaurant breakfast. Much harder to make at home, whatever works, all is good for us and glad that Jim can do them for you at home.
