Sunny and warm , checking out a few vendors in town.

Where are we today ?
clic a pic to enlarge it
Another mild night with a good sleep, then our usual early morning. Got a couple miles walkabout first thing and just enjoying this great desert that we love. On my walk it was bright enough just waiting for the sun to rise and warm up the desert floor.
We realized that we did not have early morning sun on our patio so we quickly moved our coach 20 feet away and now we will have full sun all day long, yippee! Suzie happy, me happy.
saw this sign at one vendor, love it!
love this view with th sunrising over the mountain
Back home puttering around and then Deb and Riley ( A long and Lonesome Highway) stopped by to say see us later as they were pulling out. Heading on down the road, not far though today.
Deb and Riley heading on out,
so nice to see these guys again
Our plan today was to check out some vendors at Tyson Wells in town, before they get too busy, so at 9;20 we headed there.  Some still setting up but we did walk one row then over to K &B  checked them out and the tool guys across the way.
a few new vendors
and a few the same
It was a wonderful sunny day and no crowds , a nice morning for this outing.
need a dinosaur
Geodes?
a nice morning to browse
Then we hit the dinted can vendor for some deals here, Got some good bargains on things that we can consume .
always something here in this tent
These 2 below are wonderful cool mist humidifiers , but don't need one in our coach.
hungry? they got food
lotsa stuff here
kitchen stuff here, found a few things here I needed
nice crystals
how about a cow skull?
That was our fun morning enjoying the fresh air and walkabouts for a couple of hours. When we had enough back home for a light tasty lunch and enjoy the rest of the day relaxing a bit. Only 67f but very warm in the sun so awning open to give us some shade while reading our e-readers. Clear blue skies what's not to love about that?
what a great afternoon, reading and puttering about
enjoying this weather
here we are lotsa space
Then  around 3 pm we had Bill, Patsy, Clemson, Tom and Deb joined us for "Happy Hour". A nice social time to chat, tell stories and get to know each other better.
LR : Suzie, Deb, Tom, Bill, Patsy
The time flies, then soon time for us all to whip supper. Tonight  a Chorizo burger for me and  shrimp burger for Suzie added to a small salad and fill our hungry tummies quite comfortably .
quick and easy on our Weber Q
tasty? yup !
Just as supper was about done we got to enjoy another nice desert sunset, not awesome but still nice to see.
it happened so quick I almost missed it
Just another nice desert day enjoying the good life.
Thanks for taking the time to stop on by and hope y'all enjoyed your day as well.

  1. Good idea to get settled up perfect before it gets more crowded. I'm sure one of these years we'll head out for the rally, but so far we enjoy our memories of being the only ones there. You have to be getting low on chorizo, you can't find that just anywhere :)

    1. We missed our first morning sunrise when we we to had the heater installed, so did not realize the shade we had until after 9 am., Easy move 15 minutes all set up again. You keep track of me right? That was the end of my Chorizo, I will keep an eye out for some fresh store made. Borregos springs and Ajo have some very good stuff.

  9. Good move you made, didn't have to go far to get yourselves into the sunshine. Love the vegetarian sign, we both got a good chuckle out of that! Didn't look crowded at all at the vendors, sure that'll be changing here shortly. Dinner looked great!

    1. Thanks guys. Just a short move made it much better here for us. Glad you enjoyed the sign we loved it too. Not crowded yet and every year a few less vendors but still lots to see.

  10. We have never been here this early in the season and cannot believe all the venders with more to come. I can see we need to get out and check them out before the real crowds start.
Enjoyed yesterday's Happy Hour, always a relaxing time of the day.
Obviously, we are not real observant from across the wash as we totally missed that you moved your motorhome yesterday...LOL
