More warm sunny weather, a free Casino Bus trip , fun times with friends and a great happy hour

Where are we today ?

     Another very warm night for sleeping windows open, less blankets and was very comfortable. After the coffees, breaky and computing this morning really nice to get a walkabout enjoying this area and another nice sunrise. This was about 6:30 this morning down by the Hot Springs.

     I love to check out this lagoon here really reminds me of an Oasis in the desert.

       Back home I puttered around for a cut checked out our Mr Heater, and having an issue with it, Cleaned it the other day and does not want to stay lit. Hmmmm, will check this out tomorrow when we have more time, don't really need it much with this very warm weather anyway.
        Then at 8:30 we headed down to the meeting place for the FREE Casino shuttle. Needed up 35 people from this LTVA boarded the bus. And now nonstop to the Casino.

     Ewe were thinking of going there anyway for the Prime Rib dinner deal, but heck a free bus ride! we enjoyed the scenery, saved money on fuel and got to enjoy our books for an hour each way. Ok Did look up a few times to see new sights.

       Before we knew it at the Casino 80 minute drive that flew on by chatting with a few people and enjoying our e-readers,  This bus trip to the Golden Acorn Casino in Campo California  was sure an awesome deal ! And a fun day.

        Now because we took the bus and have new players cards we each got $30.00 of free slot Play. Really that is a great deal! Well we played the slots and were doing well, then stopped to meet some of our friends for lunch.

        The 7 of us met at the restaurant for lunch 11;45 we ordered off the menu but I was here and a few others for The Prime Rib Special $7.77 now that was an awesome deal! And I Had a craving for that for a while but did not want to spend $50.00 on a roast, on sale! Just for me.

My prime rib excellent a bit more done than I like but still very tender
for the price no complaints

     After lunch we did a walkabout outside in the sun, Casinos are known to be cooler and here at over 4,000 feet elevation is cooler weather but the bight sunny skies and fresh air for a few minutes was wonderful.

      Back inside we still plying the penny slots and having a ball we have never played so long on the slots with their free money. We were both up and down. I cashed in $15.00 and at one point Suzie was up $48.93 but we still had 2 hours before the bus left and she was having a ball. Go for it it is free money and fun entertainment .

      It was a different day us but also a fun time, Free Bus ride, $60.00 free slot play between us (actually Suzie go and extra $5.00). I cash in my winnings so we pretty well had a free lunch relaxing drive, fun with friends and even a couple of hours enjoying our e-readers.

       Now back here at 4:10 pm we all get together for Happy hour.The weather perfect just cooling down slightly in the shade.

    What a great group we had here today for Happy hour according to Don (red shirt at the front) the largest group yet, So I got a few shots, just because I could and again as usual I am not in them but heck can't have everything on the spur of the moment.

     Soon it was cooling down, bare eegs and arms getting chilly so time to call in a night and head in inside.

     What a fun day we had pour of the moment thing. Sometimes these are the beast times. Fun with friends, casino time a great meal and a very warm sunny day.
