Where are we today ?
We having too much fun here, just the two of us and nobody around. Run a few errands today and checked out Tyson Wells vendors for the last time this year. Over half the vendors are gone but we still got a nice walkabout looking at stuff and no crowds. Picked up a few ball bungees that we use, for a good deal, them back home for lunch.

Late afternoon the Rv Glass guys showed up with our repaired dual pane windows. We had them done two years ago and they gave us an 18 month warranty. Two of our three windows began to fog a bit last winter but we were not here in Arizona. These two brothers ( Craig and Mike) honoured their warranty and agreed to repair them again at no charge. Took them out on Monday and returned today to reinstall, looks like new and now we can see our mirrors again!

their set up on Kuehn St across from Rice Ranch |
They are a very busy couple of guys and got them to do the work when they had time. We here for three weeks altogether. If you have foggy windows and are in Quartzsite we highly recommend them to get the job done.

they know their stuff and got the job done in no time |

Folks have definitely moved out. We only had 7 at our campfire tonight. That's down from close to 40. We're moving out on Friday. It'll be interesting to see the plans for next year especially since they cut out the car and craft shows.
ReplyDeleteNo campfire for us just a nice quiet evening.
DeleteHopefully that's it for the windows. Good thing they stood behind their warranty. With the amount of banging around in the average RV, it's no wonder sealed units fail.
ReplyDeleteWe have other windows that could be done, but not critical for driving,
DeleteWe always like to add good, honest people to our repair list. How nice to find that these guys do good work and back their word.
ReplyDeleteThey are a friendly couple of guys that do stand behind their work, enjoyed dealing with them.
DeleteLove to hear that warranties are still in effect when you need them... and that they are honored!
ReplyDeleteThis was six months past the warranty period, but was a long drive from home to here.
DeleteYou clearly found a couple of guys who stand by their word with the window repairs. It does look like the dust is settling back down in the Q with so many RVers gone. Quiet is good!
ReplyDeleteThey are a couple friendly guys and do good work, I think last time they were very busy and maybe rushed the job a bit as we ran out of time here.
DeleteYep quiet is good.
Nice to see you are enjoying the desert... great to get the windows fixed I bet!
ReplyDeleteWe do enjoy the desert, even more so that the crowds are gone.
DeleteI'm betting an insurance company would have found a way to deny your claim. At least these guys stood by their warranty - hope their work stands up as well.
ReplyDeleteThey do a lot of Rv windows repaired and very seldom have any recalls. The third window was gone for a week last time and it is standing up perfectly.
