Where are we today ?
Just more great weather, probably the best winter yet here in Arizona. Lotsa sunshine, no wind , no rain and temps everyday in the 70's to 80's F cool desert nights just like normal. No frost and no humidity, yep we have a bit of dust but sure beats the alternative.
Our friends Rob, Pat, John, Barb and the puppies hit the road at 8:30 this morning and we did the hugs and see ya later guys somewhere down the road.

they are on the road again! |
We are staying here for another week to get a few things done.
|
Tysoen Wells vendors moving out |
After they gone we puttered around for a while, dust off our solar panel and a pic of all the space we have now. Everybody leaving and we will have it so quiet around here. Suits us just fine. Rv's are leaving by the groups heading every which way.

We are having another hot day, sunshade out and enjoying our books.
|
another perfect day |
Took a bike ride over by the tent area and all is vacant, vendors gone to other events and shows. Does not take them long to pack up and go.
|
all gone. nice and quiet now |
|
Even by K and B tools pretty quiet |
But still lots for us to see and browse if we are in the mood, but today is a restful day for us. Enjoy our books in the shade, relax and chat for a while too.
We even had a "happy 1/2 hour" by ourselves then time to fire up our Weber Q to grill some taters, cauliflower and carrots in foil and a tasty pork steak for supper.
|
our Weber Q does an awesome job again |
|
hit the spot, tasty and not too filling |
|
not too bad of a sunset to tonight either |
Was a wonderful sunny warm day just the two of us. Miss our friends? Yeah, but we can adjust and will see them again down the road.
Thanks for taking a peek at what we doing again and hope you are keeping warm wherever you are.

You are correct, likely the best winter in years in Arizona and the worst in other parts of the US.
ReplyDeleteWhat, happy hour for just the 2 of you? No matter how much you enjoy your friends, sometimes it is nice to be on your own.
Yep it is awesome here.
DeleteWe do enjoy each others company, we are best friends too!
It's nice to have a quiet, lazy kind of day! The weather in Tucson has been awesome too! Loving it!
ReplyDeleteSure can;t beat this weather can you enjoy.
DeleteSometimes it's nice to have people around and other times it's just nice to have a little time to yourselves. We definitely understand that. Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteYou guys had a huge crowd at you place, but is also nice all the traffic is gone too.
DeleteI'm not much of a cook so i must ask, what is a pork steak?
ReplyDeleteIt is a cut of pork.
DeleteOne thing about RVing friends... sometimes you meet up with them in another place.. or another State... or wherever, and you just take up where you left off.
ReplyDeleteThat is exactly true, the miles and years come together pretty quickly.
DeleteIt is amazing how there are so many and then so few.
ReplyDeleteIts like a huge evacuation, thats why we come early and leave late.
DeleteThis weather is your payback for Texas. Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteWe will enjoy, keep warm there on the gulf shores.
DeleteIt sure does look like it's thinning out in the Q a bit. You're right about the weather here in the southwest this year as its been even better than normal and normal is always pretty darned good.
ReplyDeleteDinner looked great again!
Thanks Rick, sure is a great winter to be here thats for sure.
DeleteNo complaints about the weather. We remember how cool last January was here in the US southwest.
ReplyDeleteWe were on the Gulf shores last winter and was better than here. Now the opposite is true, much worse there now.
DeleteNever would have occurred to me to grill cauliflower... carrots, yeah ... taters, certainly ... poor ol pig, yeah... but cauliflower? well? why not.... looks great ... and the desert looks mighty sandy ... but can't beat the temperatures... 16 here in little ol Little Rock.. jeeeeeez I'm tired of this COLD.... but the universe OBViously doesn't care whether I like it or not... lol?
ReplyDeleteYou can grill just about anything. Save the dishes, pots and pans, save water and tastes good too.
DeleteA bit dusty to say the least, but not too bad this year, not much wind.
We don't much like cold either, thats why we follow the sun.
Keep warm there in Little Rock.
Don't know if I could stand all the peace and quiet...yeah, right! :c)
ReplyDeleteEach to their own, but we sure do love it!
