The beginning of wonderful Christmas Eve day. I waited a bit later to get my first walkabout this morning to catch the sunrise over the peak while enjoying the desert places around here.Merry Christmas, Patsy took this picture yesterday, thanks Patsy |
Now this was taken 8 years ago On the beach just south of Mazatlan Mexico we spent 3 months r'ving in Mexico and had a ball Tres Amigos campground. |
I got quite a few walkabouts done today over 4 miles in the park and the desert around the park really enjoying this weather, sunshine no wind at all mostly full sun with a few clouds. Humidity 10% and the temps did get to about 82 F (27 c)now this is the way we like to enjoy Christmas.
wandering the area around the campground I got a few nice pictures of this morning's sunrise |
a few nice palm trees in the park as well |
nice hot tub, very warm |
heated pool 85 f all the time perfect |
looks like a blossom on this cactus |
Ok we found a real treat for today, Ice cream social at 2 pm, Not a bad deal. We took our bowls and split a banana in each of our bowls, We got one nice scoup of ice cream for a buck , I like vanilla, plus toppings , sauce, peanuts, strawberries, whipped cream, and a cherry on top . Bill and Patsy joined us as well can't beat the price.
wow all this for a buck, we added a half of our own Banana |
Strolled back home and we opened a new container of hand soup, I always drill a tiny hole in the top so that they do not leak when we travelling down the road.
just a tiny hole does the trick |
Doggie Kisses from Clemson for Suzie |
first pre bake the cauliflower crust |
load up with Turkey Pepperoni |
then the rest of the toppings |
now we can enjoy a very tasty Pizza cauliflower crust is much less filling |
even with that we only ate 1/2 the pizza, leftover pizza is alway good |
Happy hour at Bill and Patsy's yesterday all 4 of us in one picture Thanks Patsy |
managed to catch another nice desert sunset while the Pizza was baking |
Sunset is winding down |
we ready for Santa tonight will leave the roof vent open so he can get in. Cookies and milk waiting for him |
Soon have to go to bed or he will not come in if we are not sleeping, you know how it goes.
