Another wonderful day in Paradise , almost sounds like a broken record but that is just what it is. Early morning coffee and computing stuff then out and about. Nice to get out for my first morning walkabout but a bit later today , 8 am but was in shorts, the warm sunshine and no wind sure is energizing. Did get a couple of miles done and home before 9. So many roads to explore in the park always something new to see. Then needed to open our awning the sun is so intense.

we are camped back there about 1/2 a mile |

Need a few grocery items so a quick trip to Olsen's and back home to enjoy the day. Batteries fully charged by 10 am, nice, And a nice light tasty lunch, apple and banana for me hit the spot. And of course lots of water in this warm dry climate.

Enjoying the shade of our awning and of course reading our page turners |
|
the wonderful scenery and clear blue skies |
Then again soon time to eat, fired up our Weber Q, grilled a couple of turkey burgers to add to our side salad.

burger just the way I like it |
Then as supper was about done we actually got a pretty nice sunset, I was surprised with no clouds in the sky at all. This only lasted for a few seconds glad I caught it.

Another Arizona sunset |
Only one more day here and we will be ready to get back on the road. The weather is has been about perfect , no complaints at all. But we can't stay in one place, we get that itch and want to move to another place. That hitch itch ya know. Looking for new scenery with this great weather as well.
Thanks for stopping in for a peek, glad to have you along for the ride.
This is why we need to be so happy once we get older.
Want to learn more about Membership camping
at Rock Glen Family Resort ?
Where have we been this winter ?
Love those pics. It's an interesting place there for certain. Some of those long term folks have some very original yards. Glad you're able to wander around and still find your way home. It's so big you almost need a map. Dinner looks excellent!!
ReplyDeleteYes this place is huge with over 600 campsites and a lot of very original yards.
DeleteDinner was wonderful.
You're in Paradise now and getting the hitch-itch ???? Looking forward to where you land next in your upcoming move.
ReplyDeleteYes Jeff no matter where we are or how nice it is we do like to move on down the road we do like to change our scenery often.
DeleteBeautiful pictures again. Great looking dinner and LOVE the pic at the bottom...hahah..so funny, but true!
ReplyDeleteThanks Shirley dinner was tasty and the picture at the bottom is why I really enjoy everyday I wake up.
DeleteA question on etiquette, is it OK too approach a blogger such as yourself? I know some like RV Sue want no contact with their audience. I've been reading your blog for about 5 years and wish to respect your privacy. We're parked a little east of you, red truck and canopy with Marvin the Martian on the window, 28' Jayco.
ReplyDeleteIt all depends on the blogger, nice to have a heads up but we do enjoy meeting other people, So drop in by and say high or join us for happy hour at 3 pm. Will be nice to meet you after all these years.
DeleteLove Turkey burgers, Sure do love Arizona... maybe a couple of years!
ReplyDeleteTheTurkey burgers are wonderful and so is Arizona, glad you are enjoying Florida, As you know we much prefer the desert in the southwest.
DeleteThe suspense builds. Be interesting to see where you go next. I enjoy reading your blog and learning about places I have not stayed at. So far this winter have hit Bottomless Lakes and currently at Quail Ridge(two had never been to before). Thanks again.
ReplyDeleteYou welcome Peter glad you are enjoying these places we sure did and will likely return again. Friday we will find a new spot for us too.
DeleteI was waiting for the hitch itch to set in, almost 2 weeks. :)
ReplyDeleteEach day is a new adventure even if we do nothing and yes how fortunate that we can rejoice in 'waking up'! ha ha
This heat and relaxation is why we come down here. Enjoy.
Yes Patsy the itch is there again, as you know we don't like to stay in one place very long.
DeleteWaking up is always and great way to begin another awesome day!
The heat , sun, scenery is the way we enjoy our winters as you are finding out is os amazing !
Love the days, and of course the cartoon was a kick, George!
ReplyDeleteThanks Sue I thought it was appropriate.
DeleteThe days with this weather is awesome, this is why we are here !
The blue skies are beautiful. Do you see any meteors at night?
ReplyDeleteYes love the skies, see lots of bright stars and some moving not sure about meteorites though could very well be.
DeleteI do not think Tom or I will ever get tired of all the warm weather, beautiful blue skies, great scenery, gorgeous sunrises and sunsets. The snow...the snow as beautiful and white as it is we are tired of...Hopefully tomorrow will bring the weather window and road conditions we need to get our of here.
ReplyDeleteSafe travels as you move on to you next spot.
Like you we won't get tired of the southwest and all it has to offer, perfect for our lifestyle.
DeleteGood luck with you weather window and wishing you good roads and safe travel.
At least you don't have to travel too far to see somewhere just as nice as where you are.
ReplyDeleteThis is true we really enjoy the desert.
DeleteSorry but I don't look that good when I wake up. Be thankful you're not there... :cD
ReplyDeleteDon't care what I look like when I wake up , at least I wake up!
DeleteI remember the days of snow and cold temperatures for a week or more straight? I would rather have this problem of sun and warm weather day after day! Life is hard in Arizona. :-)
ReplyDeleteYes Dave we remember too, It is hard here in Arizona and we are really suffering :<)
DeleteYou are right. We aren't as young as we used to be and each day is precious.
ReplyDeleteThat's for sure.
