Santa was here, and we enjoyed Christmas dinner with fellow bloggers and Blog followers.

Where are we today ?
clic a pic for more
Christmas Morning and looks like Santa snuck in during the night and left some goodies for us under our tree. He knows our lifestyle and our gifts should be consumables. Nothing much else we need. A bottle of white wine for Suzie, and a red wine for me, some Lindor Milk Chocolate Truffles and Suzie's new ring box with an Aero chocolate. Perfect choices, Thanks Santa !
5 am was up and yup Santa was here !
got the Yule log fired up (turned on the TV)
 and checked under the tree
and there we have it, goodies from Santa
glad we left the roof vent open so he could get in
yes he ate the cookies and milk
also ate a piece of Pizza that was in the fridge.
ok Santa was hungry.
Suzie checking our gifts
Santa found her ring Box and wrapped a tiny Aero Choclate bar inside
now that is too cool !
I already gave her the ring
Suzie's new pinky ring took 2 years to find the right one
Got a few nice walkabouts the park here catch some sunrise photos (too blurry to post) and wish a few people Merry Christmas. Everyone here is for the same reason as us not too cold and NO SNOW ! We are all loving it.
We had a early light lunch at 10 am then a few more walkabouts and checked out a few things across the road, just because I could,

Stairway to ? Heaven?
Then settled in to reading for a bit soaking up the sunshine. Then about 1 pm we had some Blog followers and Bloggers, plus Bill and Patsy come by to join us here for Christmas Dinner at 2 pm.
They are having a Christmas Dinner here in the park and a pretty good deal. Turkey , Ham, Stuffing, Mashed Potatoes, Gravy, Green Bean casserole, Roll and desert only $10.00 a person, all we need to take is Plates, utensils and our Beverage.  And we could invite friends. There is 3 couples we know that are boon docking in the area. Jean and Skip, Brenda and Len, Roger and Sue so they will be joining Me, Suzie, Patsy and Bill. A nice get together with Friends for a Christmas dinner at 2 pm today. And all 3 of these couples we have met before but not met Bill and Patsy, yet they all follow both of our Blogs, so why not get together? Guess what we are all Canadians too. 2 couples from Alberta , one from British Columbia then their is us plus Bill and Patsy from Ontario. What a small world this is becoming. All meeting here in the southwest. And today just happens to be Len's Birthday as well! Happy Birthday Len.
1:30 this wild bunch of us headed to the clubhouse, looks we will be taking it over
lol, All we need is the proper clothes, cowboy hats and six guns
taking over the wild west.
Now we added a couple more chairs so that we could all sit at one table, and of course we have to take these group pictures just so we can all remember who all was here.
LR: Patsy, Bill, Skip, Jean,Len,Brenda, Sue, Roger, Suzie and Me.
the clubhouse a nice crowd today
They had a card on the table from a deck of cards, the first number was 5, hey that's our table so we got to the buffet first served, now that is to cool.
all set up serving good sized portions
Pilot Knob put on an excellent Christmas Dinner
Thanks to Kathy , Joe, Barb and all the other helpers!
Jean and Skip brought these Christmas Crackers for everyone, something I have not seen since I was a kid, what a treat , Thanks guys! We Cracked them open got our treat and of course a party hat , just because we can and we are celebrating.
Love the crackers thanks Jean!
Excellent, Mashed, gravy. Turkey ham fish cranberries,
green bean casserole and stuffing. all very good.
Patsy with her hat, mine was red and most of the others had theirs on as well
we chatted and enjoyed our Christmas dinner
then desert came around, apple pie, pumpkin pie, or a brownie
I had the apple pie with whipped cream was excellent
Before we knew it was after 3 pm and still a wonderful day so back home. We invited everyone to join us for Happy hour now and and they joined us, perfect weather here, a bit too hot for some in the sun but we all got to know each other more, shared tips and told stories. Promising to meet up again sometime in our travels, on down the road.
Bill and Patsy went to get Clemson
Now before we knew it was cooling down almost missed the sunset, 6 pm ! Where did the day go?   This afternoon just flew on by as it sometimes does, ya know time flies when you having fun, And what better way to spend Christmas Day if not with family then how about spending it with friends, we are all in the same boat down here.
I did manage to get a couple of sunset pictures as the sky was  getting very colorful.
That was our fun Christmas day celebration , Santa was good to us, friends joined us for a lovely Christmas dinner and tips and stories were shared on a very nice warm sunny desert Christmas day. Not too bad at all.
Thanks for  dropping in today and hope Santa was good to you all and that your Christmas Day was a Joyous one as well.

  4. Good to hear Santa found you and brought the perfect gifts! Hard to do with you moving around. Gotta admit the Museum of History in Granite is a bit hooky but it's my kind of place. I drag Fran out there a couple times a year just to latest changes. We'll be there again in March, care to join us?
