Sunshine, finally !

Where are we today ?
clic a pic to enlarge it

Sunshine ! Makes everything so much better
The rain has stopped after a few days for a while, clouds gone away this is wonderful. But it's still cold mid 40'sF with a 25 mph NNW wind feels like 38 f (3) . But we have sunshine. Not sitting out weather but a few walkabouts is great, just bundle up a bit and stay in the sun. And a few walkabouts I did. Loving the fresh dryer air.
love the clear blue skies
across the ponds here
After a light lunch down to the wonderful fitness centre here for my daily workout, not over doing it just use all my muscle groups.
Then had Walt, from the park, come over to help look for our water leak, I am baffled. He thinks it could be around the tail lights on our coach. So I removed them, got some sealant he recommended and new (Robertson Screws the philips screw heads were not good anymore). Re installed the lights and hope that works, we will see.
When I went to the Home Hardware in town for stuff, a deer was by the fence to the park. The car in front stopped and we just watch it run up and down the fence line, then eventually it dashed across the road. Glad we stopped to watch.
deer by the fence to the park.
the deer on the hill across the road,
so nice to see
Got the tail lights done and sealed looks good, hopefully will solve the problem. Will do a water test very soon and we will see.
nice views from our site, with the sun shining
and clear blue skies
About 5 pm time for supper. Preheat our Weber Q (it;s been a while) windscreen up.Whipped up a tasty salad and grilled a couple of smoked pork chops.
love these smoked pork shops a very nice treat
smoked chops and a salad sure hit the spot tonight
All in all a pretty decent day, no complaints here. Sun shine in the forecast and temperatures slowly rising. We are all looking forward to a bit more heat and sunshine.
Thanks for stopping by and hope the sun was shining on you today as well, it is so welcome after all the clouds, rain and cold weather.

Where have we been this summer ?

  1. The sunshine and blue skies add to a beautiful day. Did you switch to stainless steel screws? The Robinson screw heads are almost in not always on the stainless screws at the local Home Depot.

Corner Hardware store here in town had them.
I did not bother with stainless the others were not rusty at all.

  7. The park looks very nice, inviting I guess is the word. Love the deer, they are so graceful and so quick. I'm curious as to what you use for a wind screen for the BBQ. We've been doing without due to wind and I'd like to get something we can use. Too windy even for the bigger BBQ. I agree the heat will come but I wish it would come a little faster. ~laugh~
