Change of plans cause we can, lets hang out here and enjoy the rain rather than move.

Where are we today ?
clic a pic to enlarge it

We had planned on heading to the New Hamburg Fairgrounds this morning BUT ! No real need to rush especially when it is pouring rain.
Today started off with rain that had continued from overnight and carried on all day long. No walkabouts this morning. Drove down to the garage in town for a bit chat with the guys, check our lottery tickets (no luck). And trying to decide if we want to move to the New Hamburg Fairgrounds today for the weekend. No rush things don't start till Friday night and we can stay here as long as we like. I did a quick trip there still raining here and still raining there pretty well all day. No Need to pack up in the rain and set up in the rain if we don't have to.
So we will hang around here for the day. Our propane water heater is giving us an issue, not getting up to temps . So after lunch I whipped down the road to Leisure Days Rv . To pick up a new t stat assembly that I hope will fix the problem. The propane water heater fires up but cuts out before it is hot enough, works fine on electric. We will see, I will look at it when the rain stops. Maybe tomorrow but I have the parts right now.
lovely view but relentless rain
Actually did get a few minor walks outside between the rain drops and even got some quality reading time done inside as well. Don't mind these rainy days at all. Always a nice change as long as it does not last too long.
spotted this bunny again
posting for me
a chocolate easter bunny maybe?

nice under the willow tree across the road
No Weber Q tonight I packed it and our chairs way this afternoon between rain drops. So tonight gonna try this salmon below that I picked up the other day on sale. We love salmon and most any fish.
An easy meal just popped in our propane oven for 30 minutes and done. Love our propane oven!
looks tasty and sure was
To add to this I whipped up a salad , and nuked some fresh cauliflower  I got on sale, with cheddar cheese and a large fresh strawberry to finish it off.
what a feast so tasty, easy
and healthy
Was not too bad of a day, got a few things done and looking forward to heading to the Mennonite Relief sale tomorrow for the weekend. Help out Suzie'sDad if need be.
Glad that y'all dropped by to check us out.just doing what we do , enjoying this lifestyle as a full-time rver.
Where have we been this summer ?

  1. Any chance it is the thermostat on the propane side of the water heater? Hopefully it is an easy fix.

  2. Good luck with the water heater fix. I'm sure you'll figure it out. The rain has stopped here, but was foggy and drizzly first thing. We need sunshine.

  4. Glad the water heater is fixed! I'm like you, I'll enjoy any weather as long as it's not too hot or too cold for too long, lol. That dinner has all of my favorite things. Reminds me I have a half cauliflower in the fridge. I'd better steam it today. I also put cheese on the top to melt. Yum. Enjoy your day at the MRS. :)

    1. The water heater fix was easy and only 20 bucks. We take the weather as it comes, and the change is always nice like you as long as it's not too cold or hot. We will enjoy the MRS.
