Very warn this morning then the cold front dropped in.

Where are we today ?
Got up early as usual about 5 am and was a wonderful 65f thinking its gonna be another perfect day. Lotsa fog and stuff but still  pretty nice.
Couple walkabouts  and enjoyed this nice warm weather and a quick trip to the store in town about 10 a.m. When I came out just before 11 a.m. was raining and quite cold. BRRRR.......
Back home before lunch and was about 40f, really not nice.  So a bite to eat, some more homemade turkey soup hit the spot.
The rest of the afternoon cold, and rainy, great day to enjoy our e-readers inside. Not gonna hangout there in the cold wet weather today. No problem we have lotsa great books to enjoy.
Was gonna BBQ supper, but with the cold and rain thought it was a perfect day to  treat ourselves to the Pizza Shack in town.
We have been here a few times over the years and have never been disappointed, excellent hand tossed Pizza dough very similar to Silly Al's in Quartzsite.
we got there early before they busy
shared a small Caesar salad to start
Then enjoyed a medium specialty pizza, really hit the spot. Even leftovers for breakfast maybe?
they do have wonderful Pizza here
Then just headed back home, relax for a bit more, post our blog, read a bit then my recliner at Tv put me out real quick.
Such is the life of a full time rv'er, really not much different than living in a house. Only thing is we keep having different scenery and towns to visit, something we really enjoy,

  1. Sounds like you had the perfect plan for meals today. Stay warm. FYI gas here at Love's today was 2.75 so you best stay east as the prices are higher here in the west.

    1. Worked out pretty good today.
The gas prices out there still much cheaper than Canada, think we be heading that way real soon.

  2. I love leftover pizza for breakfast. It's too bad we don't get more of it. Arizona is waiting for you. It's warm here!

    1. We don't so much mind the rain , its the bitter damp cold that's not much fun.

  7. I stopped at Flying J exit 208 in Eloy/Casa Grande on I-10 and paid $2.40 a gallon with the Good Sam/Flying J .05 cent per gallon discount. They have a RV island, but it was not marked. I went into the regular gas pump area.

    1. We have used that Flying J quite a few times and used the RV lane, very handy stop for us.

  8. Staying inside and reading when it's raining works for me. And adding soup to that picture makes it really perfect. It is beautiful here in AZ even though a little rain may come through the next couple of days. So come on over.

  10. Deeeeeelicious looking pizza! and Texas weather can change while brushing yer teeth ...

Have I missed your saying you have eaten Texas barbeque? .... It's a different ballgame ... slow roasted over mesquite basted ... sauce is offered but in some die hard places .. it's an insult to ask for sauce... ;)

Three hours west of you in Lockhart is an ongoing family ~ who's got the best barbeque ~ little town. Great place if you haven't been... don't know which way you'll head out of Willis but ... I know you're going west !

    1. We have actually had Texas BBQ a few times over the years and was tasty, but don't do much beef any more, maybe a good small steak occasionally.
Thanks for the reminder of Lockhart Texas appreciate it.
Once we head west now going straight through to southern California want warmer weather now.
