Where are we today ?
Was cool overnight, but another good one for sleeping Got a few walkabouts done early this morning, quick trip to town for a few supplies and home shortly after 9 am. Like to beat the rush.Sun shining and was quite nice outside. So packed up our Christmas decorations, more walkabouts, chat with a few people stopping by then time for a Turkey sandwich for lunch.
Grabbed our e readers to enjoy some very nice warm sunny weather, no wind today so 60f F feels just wonderful! Gotta love it.
But then had to wander over and soak in the hot pool for a while and enjoy the very warm swimming pool as well. Yep we getting spoiled.

Are those red things on the grill then on your plate peppers or grape tomatoes?
ReplyDeleteBetty they are grilled red peppers, the grape tomatoes I usually put in the salad.
DeleteI definitely agree with you. I'd rather hear a lawn mower this time of year than the sound of a shovel hitting the pavement while shoveling snow.
ReplyDeleteThats for sure.
DeleteNothing like the smell of fresh cut grass!
ReplyDeleteYes we do love that smell.
DeleteI'll readily admit that I hate the sound of a leaf/snow blower.... lawn mowers, not so much. Guess it's that whiny sound or something.
ReplyDeleteThe blowers can have an annoying whine, but only here for a few minutes.
DeleteLooks like a fine day in the dessert. Hard to believe folks want to live in that smog - give me the countryside any day even if it involves the occasional whiff of cow manure from across the road :-)
ReplyDeleteLarry thats the way we enjoy it too out in the country with the cows.
DeleteYour food servings are always picture perfect and invariably my stomach begins to growl :) grrrr
ReplyDeleteThanks Sissy,
DeleteThe eating experience of always enhanced with a visual, enjoy.
Nice to see you Enjoying the freedom this lifestyle brings you.
ReplyDeleteWe plan on doing a little more walking now that we're not running away from the snow.
Be Safe!
It's about time.
Love the lifestyle, this way we don't have to run away from the snow, we leave before it arrives.
DeleteYes, we too, love the Desert Hot srings area. All those pools and hot tubs! We usually stay at Caliente Springs, but might try some place else next time.
ReplyDeleteWe choose here because it is a membership park for us, that gives us very reasonable camping in a wonderful place.
DeleteThat's why we go south, just because we can and mostly cuz we want the heat.
ReplyDeleteWe can move south too but do save a lot of money by stay here, and don't mind it all.
DeleteJust be glad it wasn't you cutting the grass! :c)
ReplyDeleteWell it was only a tiny lawn I don't mind that at all. Better than shovelling snow!
