Where are we today ?
This morning we did not have an awesome sunrise that I caught so no pic today but it was still a great morning, almost.
We have been having issues with our generator lately and thought we would fire it up to see how its working. Started up, great ran for a couple minutes (not very well) and died. Hummph not good, would not start again. So whipped over to talk to Bob the generator guy to see if he could check it out. Come in at 10am.
So we secured our coach and away we went, Easy to to do as we are coming back to the same site again, 10 minutes we good to go and see BOB.
Bob's Generator in Quartzsite is a great place to go for generator service. We have dealt with him 2 years ago and he really knows his stuff. I would recommend him to everyone. Great service and a very friendly fellow. He has been in the business over 30 years.

Wonderful that Bob was able to figure out what was wrong and fix it in such a short time.
ReplyDeleteI have dealt with him before and he just takes it as it comes.
DeleteGo Bob! Don't you just love having a person you know and trust to work on your MH?
ReplyDeleteBeautiful picture of the sun setting!
You just need to talk him and know he is trustyworthy and reliable. His helper Phil loves working with him too, Bob always has a smile and never gets flustered.
DeleteIt's always nice to get a referral for good work at a good price. We'll keep him in mind should we need something fixed. Glad you got yours fixed without any hiccups.
ReplyDeleteI would recommend him to anyone.
DeleteWhen we had our coach, I did a few things on the genny, like the 100 hour oil and filter change. Fuel filter though? I think it was right there up front, but I never had to go there. Looks like yours wasn't all that accessible. Wouldn't have been my cup of tea either. My neck hurts just looking at those guys.
ReplyDeleteThere is supposed to be two fuel filters one before the fuel pump (that was missing) and the one up front that you can see.
DeleteHe had to re and re the pump by feel only could not see it.
We had our Fantastic Fan replaced at Quality RV, the one in your photo. Is that where the diesel repair took place?
ReplyDeleteNot sure about diesel, our coach and generator are gas. But I know he does diesel generators too.
DeleteI guess you can get everything fixed in Quartzsite.
ReplyDeleteThats right pretty well anything you want regarding rv's is available here.
DeleteIt's great that you could find someone you trust and that would quickly diagnose and fix the generator problem. You can continue to live out in the dirt without power........
ReplyDeleteYep, more desert dirt for a while longer. Bob diagnosed and quickly fixed a major oil leak in our genny two years ago too.
