Where are we today ?
Yep we did it again , enjoying this great weather and no plans for the day.I whipped over to Beaumont a few miles away picked up a few food items, cheap wine at Wally world, new shoes for me, ink cartridges for our printer then back home to take it easy. Suzie she no wanna go= hates shopping.
Now just enjoying this great weather , a bit cooler though only 75f we not used to this.
But did get some quality reading time done outside between a few walkabouts here and there, yep all is good. Thought about a swim but not real sunny so passed for today.
enjoying our books in the shade |
added some fresh asparagus (olive oil and sea salt) for the last couple minutes and we had a great meal. |
sure a great ending to another great day |
hey even had a nice sunset too |

Enjoy that great weather just as long as you can. It won't be quite that nice on your travels once you leave.
ReplyDeleteWe are going to go south and east before we go north.
DeleteDays of doing nothing are sometimes the busiest!
ReplyDeleteYep bust doing nothing is fun!
DeleteI'm with Suzie on shopping, but someone has to do it. Good thing you don't mind.
ReplyDeleteWell the food is for me to cook and the shoes for me too, no need for her to come.
DeleteYou're a good man to let Suzie stay home and not have to face the horrors of Walmart shopping. I try to avoid it as much as possible. We're having lots of those do nothing type of days - at least I am. Jim is fishing.
ReplyDeleteI go into a store, get what I want and then out, most stores laid out the same easy to navigate. Snd I went early before the crowds.
DeleteI love those kinds of days too, George!
ReplyDeleteNothing wrong with them, thats for sure.
DeleteSounds like you have a firm winter plan:)
ReplyDeleteOur firm plans are written in chalk can change at any time along the way. Thats why we take our time.
DeleteYou and Suzie have it made!
ReplyDeleteP.S. Im with Suzie on the shopping!
Yep we do and enjoy every minute of it too.
