Interesting learning about the Salt Cedars and a very appropriate name being that they taste salty. Sounded like a nice day and even time to do a bit of reading. Like you I only buy the beef if it's a good deal. Dinner looked delicious! Have a great Wednesday!
ReplyDeleteThanks guys it was a nice relaxing day enjoying this great California weather.
DeleteThank you for posting about the Salt Cedars. I've always wondered what those were. We're moving over on Thursday, Will register and park the rig. Need to head for Ontario Airport As soon as we get parked To pick up a friend that is here to help her sister in law. so will finish hooking up later in the day when we return.
ReplyDeleteI thought they were interesting trees. We will be leaving here Thursday to Cedar Valley Lakes, first thing thursday, then to the PS Follies for a matinee.
DeleteNice looking steaks! We also only buy red meat if the price is good. What is Vons?

Von's in a Grocery chain here in the Southwest.
DeleteThe weather sure has been gorgeous this year! We couldn't ask for anything nicer. That Weber sure is terrific for cooking those meals.
ReplyDeleteOne perfect winter this year thats for sure. And our Weber best BBQ I have ever owned.
DeleteTell Suzie I share her taste in books ;-) About those salt cedars... hope anyone who followed your link read the part where they are in invasive species... they were just another plant brought to this country to control something else... got out of control and have taken over. They are a horror to try to get rid of. That 90 degrees isn't bad if there's a little breeze to stir it up some.
ReplyDeleteI will Sharon, I usually read some of them too.
DeleteThey are a very invasive species but kinda nice looking.
Shady and a very slight breeze= perfect.
You are having a very wonderful winter for certain as opposed to all your readers further East and those is Florida.
