Where are we today ?
Another great morning sunrise here today. Its not the desert but still nice and colorful. No mountains and a few trailers in the way, but still not too bad. We have full hook ups so that has to account for something. But it is kinda weird. We still conserve our water and electricity. And no water pump running when we turn on the taps.
A quick trip to Blythe California this morning, for a few groceries and back home to chat with Ron, Loree and Freddie.Suzie giving Freddie a couple treats |
river front sites |
Huge Bamboo, by the river |
Then time to fire up our Weber Q, couple baked taters, mushrooms and onions in foil, fresh asparagus on the grill and very tasty prime ribs steak I picked up on sale this morning. Where else can you have a meal like this for less than $8.00 for two all inclusive. Ok, couple bucks for beer , but still under ten dollars total.
sure hit the spot tonight |
Glad you took the time to take a peak today, the weather gets nicer here every day, only 65f today but close to 80 f tomorrow.

I do love a lazy day sometimes! How nice to be able to walk a short distance to the river.
ReplyDeleteDo you put anything on your asparagus when you grill it? Looks yummy!
Pray a little olive oil and sea salt works good for us.
DeleteHope Susie is feeling better, I like those do nothing days.
ReplyDeleteI think be just fine soon, nice and relaxing here.
DeleteIt does take a bit getting used to hookups when you haven't had them for a while. I still find myself trying to conserve water. Looks like a great meal for a very low price.
ReplyDeleteNothing wrong with conserving water, yes it was a tasty meal.
DeleteWhat a wonderful day you had ... here? 3" of snow from 7pm to 8pm.... seriously!!! grumble moan rant and bitch .,.. I like your food
ReplyDeleteThat is a lots of s*%# in one hour wow! Keep warm there. We like food too and love cooking it.
DeleteIt has been quite awhile since we have been there-enjoy!
ReplyDeleteWe are enjoying it, the sunny days and warm weather is good enough for us.
DeleteGlad we stopped paying for WHR last fall. So who owns the park now? FYI we did have ROD also.
ReplyDeleteWell there was no point paying for it when you did not use it anymore. The Manthei Family have purchased the park. They own three in desert Hot springs plus this one. Waterfront sites $55.00 a night !
DeleteLooks like a great dinner! I like the photos of the campground area along the river.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by, is pretty nice here, though more crowded than we like.
DeleteThese campgrounds are going to price themselves right out of business with those prices. You almost can get a hotel room cheaper than that! :cO
ReplyDeleteThat why we enjoy our membership campgrounds, still have a bout 700 to choose from.
DeleteThere is a motel in Town for $35.00 a night here.
It seems funny that they would price the lots so high, no one rents them... hard to believe. Enjoy the great weather out there!
ReplyDeleteMembership parks work great and are always full. We will not pay these high prices, lots of other places to go.
