Where are we today ?

| Happy Canada Day |
Cooler overcast day but no rain all day, temps to the high 60's f so really not too bad. Personally I would like a bit warmer but we take what we can get.
A few walkabouts this morning then I decided to mow some grass. The back 1/3 of the lot has not been done for a while so hopped on the mower and trimmed up the last one acre plus in under and hour. This 61 inch deck sure makes quick work of this.

Then after lunch went over to the farm to check out Dennis and Sandy's new house. Nice new place they are moving to and was asked if I would like to mow the lawn here. Yep no problem, so got my hat, shoes and ear plugs, hopped on the "Grasshopper" and went to work.

Got this done then back to John and Lea's enjoyed a Happy Hour with John's sister Suzie and Randy, Lea'a daughter Cassandra and Aaron with a few snacks.

Now John and Lea put out on a huge spread of steaks!
Must cost hundreds of dollars, maybe a thousand or more!

The desert a piece of cake and Suzie made some cheesecake for desert as well. A wonderful Canada Day celebration good food, good friends and great weather. Hope you had a good day too.

DeleteOne tractor has a 5 foot wide deck the other 4 feet wide both probably too big for your lawn.
You deserve happy hour after all that mowing and the steaks were a big bonus.
