Where are we today ?
A wonderful night's sleep we had and kinda feels like fall weather! This morning about 50f (10c).
So this morning's walkabout was with a sweater. We noticed yesterday that our slide topper awning was not the way it should be. All floppy on one end at the other all screwed up. Not good! So todays project was to check it out. Borrowed the tall ladder from the shed here and fiddled around with it for a while.
Checking things out got everything all configurated and guess what it now works the way it should.

Now happy with this fix checked with manager Rob here about another campsite. So we packed things up and moved to this other site that will work wonderful for the long weekend when the kids and grandkids come for the August long weekend next friday August 2nd. Packed up our coach in 10 minutes and we moved down to this huge site.

All the sites here are first come first served so if we see an empty site we like just need to move to it, perfect !
All set up here and our friends Rob and Pat joined us for a social hour, then we fired up the Weber Q to grill a couple taters, carrots and some very tasty bone in pork chops for supper.
I whipped up a nice small caesar salad to add to the mix and just hit the spot.

DeleteWe haven't seen a huge site like that for a very long time. Sites here are more like parking lots.

DeleteI love cooking especially when I but the food on sale.
Still up around 36C here in Kelowna and way too hot. Now that is a great looking site. I can see it full of kids and fun loving adults come the long weekend.
