Where are we today ?
Early this morning I head on down for a nice country drive to Plattsville. Snowy cold and very peace full, great way to clear my mind and enjoy the winter scenery. Chat with the local guys for a bit, keep up with the gossip and solve some more world problems.
A couple local guys stop in for a coffee and get warmed up, both doing snow removal, Freddie's smaller John Deere (green) and Shorty's commercial yellow John Deere. They do keep very busy here in the winter.
looks like a snow plow standoff |

ReplyDeleteYour welcome Chris I am sure you will enjoy it.
DeleteI think I'd eat your side...minus the Jalapeno peppers.
ReplyDeleteIts all yummy but I do like my olives and Jalapeno's
DeleteI'm going to try that cauliflower pizza... looks delicious!
ReplyDeleteSharon it is wonderful sure worth a try, and less filling than a regular pizza dough.
DeleteI bet there are a lot of pizza restaurants that would be mad at you... ;c)
ReplyDeleteI had my own Pizza restaurant for years and think it would be a great addition and of course wheat and gluten free.
DeleteI've been wondering about the cauliflower crust - not sure if would fly with the Wood Clan though…… No dessert! Yikes! :)
ReplyDeleteTeresa I think you would be surprised at how good it is I was sceptical at first too, and after making thousands of pizzas in my own restaurant for 10 years was impressed.
DeleteMy Aunt Happy's retirement living place got shut down because of colds and flu this winter. But we got to visit her yesterday and everybody seems to have recovered. Glad you were able to solve some of the world's problems.
ReplyDeleteThere has been a few shutdowns around here but they have appeared to cleared up for now. We solve the problems but nobody seems to listen.
DeleteOnly 24 days till spring!!!
ReplyDeleteYes, yes!!!
DeleteWhat an awesome idea for your pizza, going to try this one for sure. Glad you got to finally see your Mom. Hopefully it's not to long before you can enjoy your outdoor walkabouts again, we are watching your spring count down clock and hoping to see some warm weather come your way.
ReplyDeleteThe walkabouts will be good outdoors for sure.
DeleteNo let up yet with the cold weather, hmmm....
I have seen the recipe before for a cauliflower pizza crust but I have never tried, maybe I will have to one day. I have a great gluten free pizza crust recipe that I use that is easy to make and tastes delicious.

DeleteWe both really enjoy it.
I was hungry for pizza last night but it was too far to walk back to the only pizza place we saw. Maybe we'll save it for tonight. Yours sure looked good.
ReplyDeleteWe really enjoy this for a nice change.
DeleteI can't for some reason bring up the recipe.
ReplyDeleteSorry Jan, it works for me but I will email it to you.
DeleteThanks for giving us an update on your Ma. So happy to hear she is doing much better.
ReplyDeleteThings are coming around, slow but sure, after all she was 3 months in the hospital.
