Another hockey game and just hanging out...

Where are we today ?
What a wonderful winter day here, we gonna have more snow. Kinda sucks but this is Canada eh! Just doing stuff here, me still the gopher, been here and there running about about getting things under control.
Set up an answering machine for her Dad at the apartment, think it will work for them.
Suzie and her Dad did stuff and I was able to take in a hockey game for grandson number 4 at the Wilmot Centre arena close to here. Yep we having a bit of a snow storm not real bad but not fun driving. Sure wish I still had my winter tires on the car.
this be the highway to Kitchener
Now at the arena Grandson number 4 has his game here. A wonderful game fast paced and great hockey for these 7 year olds. And bonus he scored the only goal their team got but they were defeated 5 to 1.
he is number 87 (black jersey)scored the goal right here
face off
Now a great game, fast paced then back home, whip up supper for Suzie and I and now relax for the evening.
not great driving but glad I did not have to travel far
Suzie got back from Kitchener alright and I got home to make an easy meal, left over turkey breast from last night and a very tasty salad, sure did the trick tonight. Nice by the fireplace here.
tasty and filling
Just doing what needs to be done and all is good here.
Thanks once again for stopping by and making a comment. Hope you had an awesome day too!
Check out the interactive map below to see where we have been this past Winter.

  1. How old are the kids when they learn to skate? For 7 y.o.'s they seem to be doing a great job. With such a sever weather conditions - indoor sports must be the only recreation for kids....I still love the snow pics.

    1. Mostly 3-4 years old when they begin skating. They do have an outdoor skating rink that they spend hours on , plus snow boarding at the ski hills, and tobogganing, lots of outdoor activity too.

  2. Our daughter in Ohio is getting a huge snowstorm right now. It started snowing last night and hasn't stopped. She lives in the snow belt. We wouldn't want to be there right now for sure.

  4. More snow? Oh no. At least you have a good attitude with it. If you stay inside, you'll stay warm and spring is just around the corner.

    1. Now with this snow have to get outside and clear the sidewalks and driveway, only 45 more days until spring.

  5. Those roads look horrendous! Your attitude is admirable... I'd probably be huddled up next to the furnace with a blanket wrapped around me..... Well... tomorrow's Groundhog Day... sure hope the little bas... predicts an early spring.

  8. No snow tires! Do you at least have all season tires?

    1. I put 2 new all season tires on the front (drive wheels) last fall so can still get around pretty good.

  9. Don't know which looks colder, the ice in the hockey arena or the roads you're having to drive on. ;c)
