Where are we today ?
Yep the mild weather went away. Cold this morning and even much colder tonight. Awe, shucks and it was getting much warmer day by day.yep cold with wind chill -33 c (-27f) too cold here. |
nice sunrise through the bush too |
Back home to show the house to the first interested couple, still have a few more to go whenever that happens. If nothing comes of it here then it will be listed. 2 Days ago I brought our printer home from the coach and Suzie did get some printing done but today an error message. I spent a couple hours or so trying to resolve the issues but no luck. We have had it for 6 years and was free with my Mac, so no big deal.
Future shop has the newer model of the Cannon wireless printer on sale for $59.99 so whipped into Kitchener and picked up the new one.
parking lots are smaller in the winter, with the snow piled up |
same as our last all in one wireless and worked great until it died |
Got the printer home all hooked up and working with Suzie's PC, and downloaded the drivers for my Mac. But ran out of time. Had people drop by to visit Suzie's mom and dad, so chatted with them for a while. Then time to whip up supper. Tonight a chicken stir fry with lotsa veggies and rice, using up some chicken and veggies and cold enough that I can justify cooking inside. Change of pace ya know.
very tasty and a small salad too |
thats him there |
excellent game |
Glad you could drop by and add a little warmth to our day.
Check out the interactive map below to see where we have been this past Winter.
-33C...?
ReplyDeleteObviously not fit for human habitation! We're thinking of you...did a nice hike in the hot Arizona sun today...

You are right not very nice.
DeleteThanks Kevin I wish we were right there with you.
Its always something...great find on the printer.
ReplyDeleteGot lucky too bought the last one in the store.
DeleteEgads...with temps like that, y'all will turn into Popsicles before long.
ReplyDeleteWe feeling like popsicles too.
DeleteEven for me those temps are hard to comprehend !! And it's now TOO HOT here ! Never satisfied are we.
ReplyDeleteDenise, too hot ! I have never complained about the heat, much easier to cool down than warm up!
DeleteGood luck with selling the house. Keeping warm is also a must but although you spent several winters in the desert, you don't forget how to deal with snow and cold.
ReplyDeleteThanks I am sure the house will sell, no problem.
DeleteYou are right we can deal with but we don't have to like it.
Hhhmmmmm....not fit for man or beast! Hope it warms up soon!
ReplyDeleteYou are right, only 34 more days until spring!
ReplyDeleteI see printer deals come up from time to time. It's almost cheaper to just buy a new printer than to source out ink for the old one. Six years isn't too bad. I think I'd still be using the 900 series HP that we took with up to Europe and back, except that there was no software available to drive it after I bought the new computer. Would have crapped out anyway I suppose.
ReplyDeleteBundle up!
Is there going to BE a spring?
You are right about the ink prices, but thats just the way it is with these things.
DeleteSpring soon we hoping for, is kinda chilly yes!
Those temps remind me of my youth in Montana winters. They used to be common - year after year. But I sure couldn't handle them well now. But you do what you have to do and you guys sure make the best of it. Good luck on the house sale.
ReplyDeleteSure not enjoying the weather, but other things keep us busy.
DeleteI am sure it will sell. no problem.
Will that printer work once it thaws out? ;c)
ReplyDeleteThe old one worked her for a day or two after it thawed our but then no more, at 6 years for a free printer we thought we did pretty good.So to the recycle place it will go.
DeleteI think that's pretty nippy there. Sure hope you're keeping warm and toasty.
ReplyDeleteWe are doing our best to keep warm.
DeleteGood luck on the house sale you two. It only takes that one interested party to snap it up!
ReplyDeleteThats right Patsy thats all it takes,
