Where are we today ?
This morning a couple inches of snow from overnight. So at about 7 am went out, fired up the snow blower and cleared the drive and sidewalk. Easy work yep cold, but was done in about 20 minutes. Now car warmed up and my morning cruise to Plattsville, chat with the guys.
Back home for a family meeting about this house and decisions were made. We are moving forward and thats a good thing.
don't like the looks of this |
Now I have this issue with a mark on my arm so called my Doc and went in this afternoon (Stratford 30 minutes west) to have her check it out. me thinking a Tick bite or Lime disease. While I did this Suzie took her Dad the other way to Kitchener to visit her mom.
Doc did some research and stuff, might be ok but we will keep an eye on it for the next few days.
Then back home work on the drywall issue, fixing it up, patch and paint, no big deal.

That mark on your arm doesn't look good - I'm glad you went to the doc. I hope it'll be okay. Nice looking dinner. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks Barbara.
DeleteI think it will be ok just wanted to have it checked out.
Oh dear...that mark looks ugly. Hope it doesn't hurt. Good idea to keep a close eye on it.
ReplyDeleteDoes not hurt al all so think it will be fine.
DeleteI sure do hope that mark turns out to be nothing, but you are right to quickly have it checked by a doctor. I would be afraid of it.
ReplyDeleteDoug
Think it will be fine, but better safe than sorry.
DeleteLooks like a spider bite.
ReplyDeleteDoes not itch, not sore and no swelling, but could very well be.
DeleteNo, it doesn't look so ugly to me. The outer circle is just plain 'older age bruising'...maybe a simple bug bite. Just saying!
ReplyDeleteI will probably never know, as long as it goes away.
DeleteI had me a mark like that one time. Got it from start'n up a snow blower down here in south Texas. A few days an' it was all gone. Hope yours is the same.
ReplyDeleteBilly Bob just cracks me up'
DeleteThing it will be gone soon too, but that's a thought Billy Bob, maybe could be allergic to snow and the snow blower, good excuse to head south don't ya think?
DeleteI also think it looks like it might be a spider bite. Hope it goes away fast for you.

Hope so, been here 5 days now and not getting any better, yet.
DeleteThe arm mark looks worrisome - hope it's nothing serious.
ReplyDeleteI hope so too, has the Doc stumped, but will keep an eye on it.
DeleteIs it getting any worse? Bill always seems to have bug bites and I can be beside him and never get any.
ReplyDeleteI very seldom get bug bites, but when I do my body seems to react to them.
DeleteGood that you went to the doc to have it checked out... wonder what insects are still around with all that snow, ice and freezing weather?
ReplyDeleteWhat insect is right, that confuses me and the Doc too.
ReplyDeleteI think it is a spider bite and you might have got it while moving things around in the basement. However they ususally are itchy. Keep us posted.
ReplyDeleteCould very well be, will keep an eye on it though.
DeleteHope your arm is better soon George, Nice your able to get together with your friends for the morning chats, makes for a good start to the day. Could almost smell your chicken from here, it looked delicious. Have a Great Tuesday!
ReplyDeleteThink it will be fine, and the morning chats, give me something to look forward to everyday and out of the house.
DeleteYes do love the chicken and like you said tastes and smells wonderful.
You sure have your work cut out for you. At least it will help you pass the time while you wait for the snow to melt and spring to arrive.
ReplyDeleteHopefully, that mark on your arm goes away pretty soon too.
Its best we keeping busy, so the time juts flies on by.
DeleteHi george
ReplyDeleteI have a mark on my arm almost exactly like the one that you had. Did you ever find out what it was . thanks Gary
P
S. Im in Australia
Gary never did find out it eventually cleared up no problems with it., strange.
DeleteVery strange
ReplyDeleteI noticed that I have almost exactly the same mark on my arm. So i googled it,thats when your photo came up.
At least now i know it's not going to kill me.
I'm still upright and breathing. I would check a doctor though just in case it could be lime disease.
