Painting done, and warmer weather, not warm enough but that will come in time.

Where are we today ?
What the heck its not really to cold today -3c (26f) and sunny almost a heat wave. Pretty decent, and just a few few snow fluffies this afternoon.
Normal morning stuff and cruise to Plattsville hang out with the guys (solve the all  the world's problems)and back here before 9 am.
Suzie's Dad dropped in to work on a project in his wood shop and I worked on the drywall repair project. Sand a bit and prime. Then helped her dad with some other projects he has on the go.
Monday
Tuesday
Suzie and I had a bite for lunch then she took her Dad to the hospital to visit Mom, and I put 2 finish coats on the drywall, cleaned up the mess and actually looks pretty good , would never never know there was an issue there in the past.
Wednesday all done
House is taking shape and the first showing is tomorrow at some point, a few people interested in this property. So from here we move forward and take it one day at a time.
Suzie sends me a text when they are leaving the hospital and give me a 30 minute head start on prepping supper, this works very well for us.
She home, salad made , Weber Q preheated, we can enjoy a beverage, and discuss the day as dinner cooks on our Q.
Pork Tenderloin, grilled sweet potato, and grilled red pepper
very tasty
We both had a busy day, now we can relax enjoy a wonderful meal, and spent some time together. Does it get much better? Well yeah it cold be much warmer, but that will come at some point, right?
Thanks for stopping by always glad to have you.

Check out the interactive map below to see where we have been this past Winter.

  3. You're sure keeping yourselves busy but I guess you expected that when you headed north earlier than expected. Warmer weather would be nice but it's coming.

  4. The wall looks great.

By the way...we aren't going to be staying at Catalina. We went to check out the sites for our move tomorrow and the park is packed! We wrote only 2 sites that we could get into. The guy at the gate said the word must be out about the 4 for $45.00. We really weren't even happy with the 2 that we picked. The sites were too short for us. We are moving on to Indio Elks. That will work for us for the rest of our stay here in CA. Thanks for the heads up though.

    1. Thanks, too bad that Catalina did not work out for you. This is a pretty busy time of year, when we were there was pretty quiet. At least you are still in the area.
