Saturday fun at Rock Glen resort. And a few places we have been over the years.

Where are we today ?
clic a pic to enlarge it.
Saturday and just another wonderful summer day here in southern Ontario. Overcast this morning, got a few nice walkabouts while the broth was simmering, to make a large pot of chicken noodle soup. (bones and chicken in the freezer). Both all done and we had a wonderful lunch of soup and a chicken sandwich for Suzie.
A comment yesterday day said we need to do more travelling north of the southern states and across Canada. We have and I made up a map of places that I have been and Suzie to most of them before full timing and blogging. We have seen a lot of North America over the years, I have been rv'ing even before Suzie for 50 years now, mostly with a tent and tent trailer then a van conversion. We hope that the two of us will see even more together. (Suzie has been to many places in Europe, again before she met me) when she worked in Travel. We still have more places to explore.
this is places that I have been
and Suzie to most of them
before and after our full-time lifestyle
Got this chicken noodle soup done for us to enjoy for lunch and few more bowls for the next couple of days.
nothing quite like homemade soup
After lunch relaxing in the shade, Tucker dropped by for a visit, dragging Melinda right along with him.
doggie fix for Suzie
Walked up the road to check out the shed that Walt had installed the other day, They have it set up perfectly. Drop down Tv so that they can enjoy it outside on their patio.
very nice setup
a pretty perfect summer afternoon
Then about 3 p m over to Gerry and Melinda's for happy hour. We chatted for an hour then home to fire up our Weber Q. Even though it was 80 f outside it was much cooler in the shade, and Suzie is almost always cold out side unless we are in the sun,
at their site this afternoon
Went home and noticed the kids were doing the graffiti  thing on this old trailer  that the campground sets up for them every year.  They do have a lot of fun doing harmless graffiti.
looks like Gerry is the man!
Got the Weber Q preheated and grilling a couple of Turkey drumsticks for supper on our grill mat. Enjoying our e-readers and watching the kids having fun in the playground across from us.
soon  the turkey legs are done to perfection
and we enjoyed them with our green salad
yup hit the spot tonight and more leftovers,
for another pot of soup
Then back outside for a while enjoying this wonderful weather we are having, read of a bit then wagon ride people had too much fun tonight 2 wagon loads.
Now at 8 pm we went down to check out the DJ at the clubhouse, he was inside (pretty good) but much too loud for our liking (too bad he was not outside) so headed back home to enjoy this wonderful summer evening at our campsite. We can hear the DJ from here.
Pretty decent summer day all around, not too hot and not too cold just enjoying the lifestyle that we live.
Glad that y'all dropped by and hope you had a wonderful day as well.

Where have we been this summer ?

    1. Our full-time map looked like we have missed a lot of the country, but it was only after we went full-time, as you can see we have been many more places as well.
