New flooring is all done and looks amazing! Weekend is over and campground getting empty once again.

Where are we today ?
clic a pic to enlarge it

Just another wonderful mild night, windows open and a nice cool breeze flowing through. Campground pretty quiet overnight as well. Loving this weather for sure.
Well today we wrapped up our new flooring install. Walt was here at 8 am, get the caulking done, and the rest of the trim that I picked up yesterday. Then we worked on the issue of our slide out, from  the carpet to the new floor, The transition we used was too high and did work well, So we made a quick trip into Strathroy looking for something better, And think we found one that will work much better with the rollers. He fiddled with that and now works much better think we have all the issues resolved. Slide works perfectly and the new floor we love it ! So easy to clean just a quick sweep and like new again. I even had to pick up a Swiffer for Suzie that she loves. No more vacuuming  yeah ! She happy, me happy. This is a new product engineered vinyl Allure flooring that is 100 % waterproof just what we need in an rv.
So here is few pics I have taken and posted over the last few days of what we got done , (actually Walt did the work we just helped) He did an amazing job and we are so happy with the end result. The old  worn dirty carpet is all gone. And our coach looks like new !
I will start with some new pics and the a few of what we had before.
new entry
kitchen
bathroom many angles to cut
living room , dinnette
new tramsistions from the carpet to new floor where the rollers are
Next few pics of the old carpet and throw rugs we had.
kitchen
bathroom
old carpet removed from the entry
Finally all done and we can get back to normal again, (whatever that is) And Walt can carry on to another job that he will find to do, a busy man he is.
This is the young fellow who's chain I fixed on his bicycle yesterday,
always says Hi as he rides by
Now with such great weather again we can both enjoy our e-readers in the afternoon shade with more page turner books that we both get into.
Eventually time for sipper so I whipped up a tasty salad and grilled some breaded pork schnitzel from the butcher in town. Right on our grill mat. Worked wonderful and added some chopped tomato, shredded cheddar cheese and jalpeno peppers on mine.
not long on the grill mat
4-5 minutes a side  turned once and the cheese melted
what a nice tasty treat we had
Then outside to enjoy a very warm sunny, bug free evening, posting this blog and reading for a while. Campground looking pretty empty now that most everyone has pulled out after the long weekend. Just listening to the birds chirping.
What a nice felling to get that project done and an almost new house again. Not sure what Suzie has planned for my next project but I am sure she will keep me out of trouble.
Thanks for stopping in again and you had a wonderful Sunday as well.
And to all our American friends wishing you a "Happy 4th of July holiday" celebration independence day.
Where have we been this summer ?
