Family , friends and lots of fun right here in this area.

      Hey it was cool overnight only 50f (10C)(this morning at 6 am. But the sun was coming up and our solar was charging as it is supposed to do. Full charge around 10 am ,  just about right for us.

     Now, 7 am was time wander about the area just because I like to check out places where we visit. It has been many years since I have been to this area.
       In to town and  back home before 9 am Suzie outside and she is reading and Clemson up on her knee. He has become very friendly with Suzie this time.

        Bill was outside mowing some lawn this morning, just doing what he loves to do.

         Now about 10:30 this morning we headed into Hanover to visit Daughter number 2  they are getting together with Rob's family camping, and we can visit our grands. Grandson number 4  is having a birthday tomorrow so just had to drop by and, give him his birthday card/gift just because they were close to us and his birthday is tomorrow.

        Soon  time for us to head out , everyone is getting ready with their tubes to go up river and take the current back to this area., looks like they are ready to go.
the truck will soon be here
      Back home for lunch and then we headed out with Bill and Patsy to the Flea market on Hanover, check out the markets and stop by the grocery store for a few needed  items.

     Then back home for the afternoon, relax in the shade, enjoy our e-readers on this amazing warm sunny day. only 82 f (27c) was wonderful in the shade.

       Soon time to begin supper, tonight I am going to grill a couple of chickens on our Weber Q, for the 4 of us, on sale the other day so we will have a good feed.

      Now Patsy made up an amazing Potato salad to go with the chicken, boy did we have a feast, and as usual lotsa ;leftovers for us, soup and stuff.

    Now after dishes done they having a campfire, what a great way to wind up a perfect summer day.

  2. Looks like a wonderful day once again! Getting to see your family was special. The pic of your grandson jumping off the bridge was something else..I'm not a big water person (as far as rivers and lakes) but to be young again and no fear. Looks like a nice place they were camped at! Between your chicken and Patsy's potato salad, I'm starving at 7 in the morning! YUM!

    1. To see them camping is a treat, and yes to be young again, that was things I used to do way back when.
      The chicken and salad was excellent, sure did the trick.
