What can I say? The sunrises are wonderful and we are upright and breathing that's about the best we can hope for. Got a lot of wonderful walkabouts around the park even managed to chat with a few people here and there. Just a pretty nice day, kinda cool but really no complaints .
After lunch over to the fitness centre here, had another great workout. This is one of the nicest fitness centres we have seen anywhere and is included in our membership here. 19 different machines to work out on plus the free weights. Plus indoor pool and hot tub. Just love coming here. bonus as well during the week mid day, nobody here, love it !
Came back from the fitness centre and saw that our good friends Rob and Pat had pulled in. It has been over a year since we have seen them, in and campground. They were at Suzie's mom's visitation this spring, was wonderful but a very short chat with them then.

Now Rob and Pat brought us a real treat! Rob is a hunter and so is his sons. Mostly wild Turkey. and we just happen to love wild turkey. Got hooked quite a few years ago. They brought us an amazing treat. 2 Turkey breasts that Rob himself had shot.They are back in the freezer and we; will enjoy very ,much in the near future.

They here so a happy "social" hour with them and another couple Emile and Monique we catching up on our lives What a wonderful get together we had. Soon time to home and whip up
supper.
Tonight gonna grill a couple Hayter's Onion and parsley, Turkey burgers on our Weber Q to go with our salad. These turkey burgers are our favorites bar none.

Isn't it just awesome to meet up with such nice people. We really enjoy making friends on our journey and then seeing them again in a different part of the country. Keep enjoying that super weather.

DeleteWhat fun... meeting up with old friends. The wild turkey we've had has been somewhat dry and kinda tough. Will you grill it? Marinade it first? Just wondering....

I see you're still wearing those long pants and jackets. Well, warm weather is certainly just ahead.
