Wonderful mild night again (right around freezing is good for sleeping), windows open a bit , love more fresh air. Got a few early morning walkabouts and chatted with a few people here and there. Then a quick trip and enjoy the country drive, to Forest for a few supplies, then home for a nice light lunch hit the spot. I reinforced 2 of our replacement chairs we had inherited to replace the trashed one and even salvaged some parts from it. Plastic armrests and the seat and back as well that are still in good shape.
Left one is the twin to the broken one, other two I added the support braces at the bottom you can see |

Thanks for stopping by and hope your weather is as good as ours. Shaping up to be a very nice and warmer Victoria Day long weekend for us Canadians.
Check out the interactive map below to see where we have been this summer
I saw 2 of those patio chairs at the garage sale the other day and they were in pretty good shape but how would I have ever got them to you?
ReplyDeleteThey would be pretty pricey chairs but the time we got them lol....
DeleteThanks for the thought though.
Sounds like you had another fun and busy (kind of) day. Not so sure I'd be fond of near freezing temperatures even they only were there at night.
ReplyDeleteWe are used to to cold nights, we sleep quite comfortably and turn the heat on in the morning.
DeleteAnother fun day for you now that this weather is cooperating.
ReplyDeleteBe Safe and Enjoy!
It's about time.
Nice to be outside all day in shorts instead of long pants.
DeleteEveryday is fun,
Our weather's great too!! AND we are having salmon for tea as well. How good is that?? We're having some prawns to go with ours. Dad and his mate went prawning last night and got heaps and heaps of 'em. We'd give you some if you lived a bit closer. We've been giving them to all our friends.
ReplyDeleteThank's Charlie, we love prawns too. Would be to be there, but kinda hard to drive our coach there.
DeleteI always appreciate your dinner photos and recipes. I hope you won't be offended by this question, but don't you tire of the same salad almost every day?
ReplyDeleteThanks Peter, but we both enjoy this salad and find it quite satisfying.
DeleteWith all the ingredients I put in a different taste in every bite.
Different lettuce, sometimes spinach, tomatoes, dried cranberries, sunflower seeds, different bean salads, flax seed, fresh mushrooms, carrots, celery, broccoli and or cauliflower, olive oil and balsamic vinegar, our various flavored olive oils, occasionally fresh fruit in there as well and rice crackers with roasted garlic hummus on the side. With lean meats and fish plus various spices we really find it works for us.
