Sunday is Mother's Day and wish could go visit my ma, but she is 4 hours away and the way she is right now would probably not even know who I was. Saw here a couple weeks ago and she is doing fine in a good facility that takes good care of her. Ma "Happy Mother's Day" !

And of course a wonderful walkabout in the fresh morning air. Got to thinking overnight about our water leak and really do not want to remove our shower to check it out (monumental task !) So more more things to check today. Got Suzie have a shower while I checked under for water leaks. Eventually water was there but the drain pipes were dry hmm.... but some water under the shower. Next I emptied our pantry on the kitchen removed and access panel and got her to turn on the shower. When the shower is running there is a small drip from both the hot and cold water lines. But only when the taps are on ?
Ok now removed the new shower taps, and reinstalled. so far all looks good, keep or fingers crossed and hope this resolves our water leak.
This took about 4 hours of the day, more than enough fooling around here. Another walkabout, chat with a few people and enjoy our e-readers outside but getting kinda cool with the overcast skies and chilly north wind.
Then time to whip up supper. BBQ pork ribs on our Weber Q. Simmered on low for a couple hours wrapped in sauerkraut then on the grill mat to caramelized with a tasty BBQ sauce, few spices and some brown sugar. Just the way we like them fall off the bone tender with a tasty sticky garlicky sauce. For the recipe click HERE or my recipe blog on the top right sidebar. The ribs were awesome by the way.
No pics right now, my new operating system is still updating and I am ready to call it a night.
Thanks for stopping by though, nice to hear from you again.
Check out the interactive map below to see where we have been this summer
Hope you have that water problem fixed... those things can seem to go on forever.
ReplyDeleteWe hope so too, keeping a close eye on it now.
DeleteLooks like you had a great day despite the leak. Hopefully, it's fixed now so you can enjoy the rest of the day.
ReplyDeleteThat's the plan, we keep our fingers crossed.
DeleteHas you rig been exposed to frost w. possible freeze-up of the water lines? That could have caused your connectins to start leaking.
ReplyDeleteIt was winterized last year when we returned in January, but had the leak before that, but ya never know.
DeleteOnce a year our local grocery store has a two for one sale on pork back ribs... I am patiently waiting to fill the freezer...
ReplyDeleteWater leaks can drive a man batty!
We like to stock up on ribs when they are on sale, to expensive for us otherwise.
DeleteYep water leaks can be frustrating.
Nothing worse than chasing a water leak in an RV, there sure isn't too many places where you can get a good view or even your hands in to fix things. Hope you got to the bottom of the leak once and for all!
ReplyDeleteWater can travel almost anywhere and and rv is made to be built easily, but to to repair. Hope I got it too.
DeleteI have a leak "{somewhere" around the water pump. Thanks for the reminder, I will have to clear the area out, dry it and watch while Norma tries to get it to leak by using the pump and open taps.
ReplyDeleteThese leaks can be frustrating but need to be looked after, good luck !
DeleteOne of the best things God gave us in memories. Happy Mother's day to Suzie.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the Mother's Day wishes, from Suzie.
DeleteMemories are something we will always have.
