Moved to the New Hamburg Fairgrounds for the weekend for the 50th anniversary of the Mennonite Relief Sale,

Where are we today ?

         Overcast morning and a walkabout town for bit with my umbrella, in a light drizzle. Back home by 8am the rain had let up so we secured our coach and were at the New Hamburg Fairgrounds by 9. The gate was still locked so Suzie found her Dad and he let us in. Snagged a nice spot to dry camp for the weekend. for the Mennonite relief sale this FRiday night and  Saturday Morning for the link click HERE

not much happening yet 9 am

         All set up before 10 with no rain, then it just poured for about 30 minutes. I ran a few errands . of course ran into a few people I knew. Ben was at the grocery store, and stopped by the fairgrounds on his new Harley, he was heading back home to Wellesley before the rain started again. Nice short visit hope his better half Darla will stop by this weekend while we are here.

         Our friends Rob and Pat arrived about noon from Durham and John and Barb from Buckhorn shortly after..Great that we can all get together in our rv's, after meeting up all over north America.

         Suzie went with her Dad for a bit to help count the tables and chairs that have arrived in the arena. Great bonding time for them. They both enjoyed it. And her Dad did stop by to visit us a couple times here when he had a chance to say hi to our friends.

We all st up early afternoon

      The guys and girls went shopping for a bit around town then back here for "Happy Hour" before 4 pm.

 we all love, just a nice tasty tease

       Soon time for supper, fire up our Weber Q 100 grill some fresh asparagus and very tasty smoked pork chops to add to our salad.

        Then after supper we chatted with the guys for a while (until 9pm) still very warm out and Suzie got here doggie fix, Hank and Piper right there on her lap. Her Dad stopped by again.this guy never stops !

       There ya go we had a very nice fun day, with friends and amazing weather, Few thunderstorms off and on but , mostly a sunny hot day/
