To Clarify the confusion about Bloggerfest and more fun in the sun, chicken wing deal too.

Where are we today ?

         Today the sun shining, the wind is less and the weather amazing. 70f and much hotter in the sun.
         There has been some confusion about the location of Bloggerfest this year in Quartzsite. This year it will be at La Posa South LTVA exact spot will be posted a few days before so keep tuned. The reason it is there is availability of portable portable toilets there for those that drive their vehicles. 
        So if you have posted the original poster on your web sites, blogs or facebook, I would appreciate if you would repost this one below.

     This morning we ran our generator for a short while then it stopped supplying power for a minute or so then all by itself power came on,  hmm . Then 10 minutes later no more power, genny still running but no power. 

         We were going to go to the Calexico swap meet today but.... Did lotsa of checking and research tried breakers, fuses etc...    As far as I can figure it could be our Transfer switch, but once again I am not comfortable with checking this unknown territory of Electronics. 220 volts 50 amp service. We can get by no  problem but want to get it fixed. So next week will get it checked out in Quartzsite.

         First walkabout today I spotted the  very interesting RV. The faint paint on the hood said something about a Volunteer Fire Company, but could not make it all out, the paint was so faded

       Now the weather today amazing, full sunshine again light breeze, Had shorts on before 10 am until 4 o'clock this is why we love it here. Now you know it's hot when Suzie has a T-shirt, bare legs exposed and bare feet.

            A perfect afternoon to enjoy our reading in the sun and relaxing, then time to socialize for an hour or so. Outside again but dressed for when the sun begins to set from 3:30 until 5pm cools down a bit.

      The sun is setting and cooling down time for Happy Hour to wind down. We had discussed with a few people that Friday can get a deal on Chicken wings at the Golf course in Holtville. And today is Friday!  only 5 of us wanted to go. No problem we had fun.

          Elmer and Claudia offered to drive us in there 9 passenger  Suburban, so off we went for a feast of chicken wings !

      This the place at the sports bar at the Golf Course, but what a deal. $5.00 for a bucket of 20 wings, and $2.00 draught!!!

       Well we had a feast Suzie and I shared a bucket of wings, (with celery, carrots and blue cheese dip) large plate of fries, and 3 draught beer.

        More than enough for us and look at the tab, we left a $2.00 tip but was well worth it. The wings were quite large but could have been crispier, I have a feeling they were baked in the oven. But sure hit the spot. Got our chicken wing fix. Gook my Suicide sauce to  kick theirs up a few notches.
          A great social time just the 5 of us, getting to know each other better, then back home to call it a night.
