Another great desert day, whats not to love about this amazing weather ?

Early morning walkabouts then an early road trip I made to Blythe Ca. Pick up some deals here at Albertsons. Love cheap chicken one of our favorite meals.
Walking about came across some good deals, gas powered scooter gotta love the prices here, but are in US funds. ! $795. 00 would cost us $1,1550.00 not such a good deal anymore.
Walking about town was fun looking at more stuff we don't need.

Met some people in the BIG tent that recognized me from Cambridge Ontario Canada. Not far from where we hang out sometimes in the summer . Ryner ? (spell check ) Blog follower that does not comment but reads our blog. Such a small world.
Back home a light lunch (thanks for the leftover over Pizza from Silly Al's, Lucille and Jim was awesome ! ) Then reading in the sun and shade for a while. Lucille and Jim came over to chat for a bit. They leaving tomorrow. Happy hour evolved here around 3 pm. John and Barb came by too. Then another couple stopped in that are blog followers as well. Dave and Gloria and their puppy Maggie from Alberta. Wow so nice to meet them too . Jump right in and join the group. we all have fun here.

Small plane overhead kinda cool.
While our friends were here put a chicken on our Weber Q, that I picked up this morning .77 cents a lb. what a deal about $3.45 for a 5 lb chicken many meals from this again.

Been to London Ontario, Lewiston New York, and Paris Ontario Quartzsite is more fun, yummy chicken.
Delete77¢/lb. for chicken is a bargain. We can't even raise them on the farm for that cost.

DeleteNot sure I'd compare Quartzsite to the other "little" cities but the t-shirt is cute. Looks like you're having a great time and that's what it's all about.

DeleteCrikey ..... I like the t-shirt and those boots ...... WOW!! I'd like to see my Mum in those. She's a beige person but she admires others for wearing flashy things. She LOVES those boots but she'd NEVER wear 'em. Matter of fact she rarely wears shoes at all. You don't really need 'em here.
