Where are we today ?
Quartzsite Arizona
Another fun day here in the desert. Just what we love. After some morning walkabouts and cruise in the car I grabbed Suzie and she went grocery shopping with me to Blythe California. 20 minutes west from here, the largest grocery store close to Quartzsite. Not very cheap prices but they do have some deals.

I-10 west to Blythe Ca |
We had fun cruising this store best deal was bone in chicken breasts .77 cents a pound. Perfect ! Got enough for tonight's supper. Then back to home dirt in the desert.
|
love this wonderful retro trailer Cowgirls here |
Back home for a light lunch then our friends Denis and Sandy dropped by for visit. They are in town to have 6 solar panels hooked up on their coach at Discount Solar. About 5 hours and they are now up and running off the grid.

Then John and Barb stopped into join us for "Happy Hour". I cooking supper for Lucille and Jin tonight, baked taters, carrots in foil and bone in chicken breasts on our Weber Q. We have known them since 2007 and was about time. So easy for me to do for 4 people.

Crikey .... you blokes don't need a bloggerfest. You seem to have one EVERY day!! Way to go ...
ReplyDeleteYes it seems like it, and these are usually spur of the moment gatherings.
DeleteSometimes the spur of the moment gatherings are the most fun of all. Enjoy your time in Q.
ReplyDeleteThose type of gatherings, seem to happen quite often around here.
DeleteWe saw the cowgirl trailer last year. Cute.
ReplyDeleteNice Bloggerfest sign.
It was cute, thought a sign would help. Maybe another one too.
DeleteI can't believe the tax rate in Quartzite. I think that is why people leave town to shop.
ReplyDeleteSupport the locals as much as possible, but then there is times... we need to go elsewhere.
DeleteWhat! You know Jim and Lucille. Us too! Since the first time we went to Rovers' Roost in 2009! Will they still be there when we get there?
ReplyDeleteI believe they are leaving La Posa West Tuesday Jan 19th, they are parked right beside us.
DeleteSmall world eh ?
You continue to amaze me with all the folks you know. But... I have a feeling if you didn't know them when they pulled in, you'd be good friends by the time they left!
ReplyDeleteThats about the size of it like I said before we have a lot of freinds and most we have not met yet.
DeleteI like your Where are we today? start to the blog. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteThanks it kinda puts things in perspective.
