Just tying up a few loose ends and relax at the same time.

Where are we today ?
Another wonderful warm morning, makes me wanna get out and walkabout. So before 7 am sun in shinning, cloudless skies, no wind and temps about 70f already. Already had my coffee fix and computing done. The fresh air and exercise is so nice. Noticed two hot air balloons lifting off a short distance east of the campgrounds. And its so peaceful can hear the burners firing off and on. Such a wonderful sight to see.
After the walkabouts and more coffees a quick trip to the store for some more fresh asparagus and strawberries, wanna stock up. Home by 8:30 and got another load of laundry done, only $1.00 wash and .75 dry they also have clothes lines by the laundry room, a first for us.
We leaving here in the morning and heading to St. David Arizona for a bit, (maybe 2 weeks) slowing heading east into cooler weather.
Then we find our friends Rob, Pat, John and Barb have arrived in the same park this morning. So we chat with them for a bit and agreed (they twisted my arm) to take in one last feast at Lin's Chinese Buffet for a 1 pm dinner. This place does have a great buffet always very busy and always fresh food and such a huge selection. We leave here in the morning and John and Barb  heading to Utah in a week.
my 1st plate
a little more
fresh fruits, pies, cakes and ice ream for desert
We had our fill and them some, glad it was early in the day, no more eating for us thats for sure. Back home we relaxed in the shade, put our Weber Q away, dumped our waste water stowed the hoses, checked tires, so ready to hit the road first thing in the morning, when the spirit moves us, which we both now will be fairly early.
Shortly after 4 o'clock over to visit with our friends for our final "Happy Hour" with the 4 of them for a while. Discuss our travel plans then back home to read a bit more and heading inside for the evening.

doggie fix for Suzie, Hank and Piper
nice moonrise
That was a fun day enjoying this amazing weather. It is kinda sad to be leaving this area, but we are trying to very slowly get used to cooler weather.
Thanks for stopping on by and hope you had a great day too.

  3. I love the way you arrange your food on the plate... even from a buffet... guess those restaurant days stay with you, huh?

I always think it tastes better if it looks nice.

  4. We always look forward to arriving and many times to moving on. I don't know what we'd do if we ever decided to stay put longer than a couple weeks. I'm sure you'll have a great time in St. David. Stay safe!

  5. I don't know why, but I often have a difficult time getting the comment box to pop up on your site. Frequently, I give up not able to leave a comment. Not sure why.

Anyway....I love seeing hot air balloons early in the morning. Haven't seen that for a long time.

Only a photographer would make sure his plate looks "pretty" before taking a picture. LOL...

    1. Thanks for the tip on the comment box.
The balloons are a wonderful sight that I enjoy.
I even arrange dinner plates that I don't take pictures of too, just a habit I have had for years..

  7. You're in our favorite neck of the woods. Missing Arizona's dry climate. Florida is too humid and today it's raining. Have fun!
