Where are we today ?
A pic of few books we picked up yesterday, not all of them but you get the idea.
The early this morning we gonna head into Yuma and take in the Car show! Really gonna be a good day. The show attacks about about 900 cars for this show and shine. They call it Midnight at the Oasis . Not sure why because its not at midnight.
Took way to many pictures today but I did narrow it down quite a bit. Below is a few pics of some of the cars. if you don't want to look at some great cars skip this post.

Sounds like you had another full day but one with lots of fun. Enjoy that weather where you are because just as soon as you start heading home, it won't be that nice.
ReplyDeleteWe are not looking forward to that cooler weather on the way home.
DeleteNow Paul would really enjoy going to that affair. Looks like there was something for everyone.
ReplyDeleteIt was a really great car show.
DeleteNever too many photos. Loved them all, thanks.
ReplyDeleteThanks for enjoying them.
DeleteDang, we left too soon! Love the old woody and surf board!
ReplyDeleteThat was a nice one, couple more woody's here too.
DeleteI agree that a great car show.
ReplyDeleteWe enjoyed it, even Suzie too!
DeleteThanks for sharing...it helps me get through the dreary winter up here in NL.
ReplyDeleteGlad to help out.
DeleteI especially liked the photos of the Italian Isetta motorcycle car - en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Isetta . I have always wanted to get my hands on one of those. That would be such an ideal winter vehicle (during the rainy season) in our area of Vancouver, BC.
ReplyDeleteThey are such a unique small car great as a runabout in urban centres,
DeleteWhat an awesome post this is! I felt like I was right there at that car show. It looks like an incredible place. Whoa, that car that has a door that opens in the front? That's a creepy tiny guy inside.....
ReplyDeleteI also love that you show what books you guys are reading! I read 4 to 5 books a week, and always find some new great authors from yours and Suzie's lists. Thanks! Love your blog, George.

Thanks for the great comment, glad you enjoyed the posting. we had a blast at the show.
DeleteI'll admit that the books interest me more than the cars... but Bill would have loved the show. His sister has 2 antique vehicles... a car and a truck... that she takes to car shows in New Mexico, and I think California. She has a 6 car garage that holds her hobbies. The show sure had something for everyone.
ReplyDeleteYes Suzie enjoys the books more than the cars, but did enjoy the walkabout, fresh air and ice cream.
DeleteWoW!!!!!! What a GREAT day!
ReplyDeleteWe really enjoyed it you would have too.
DeleteGood times we had
Too bad your were not here.
