Where are we today ?
Just another sunny Arizona day, clear blue skies and perfect temperatures. What's not to like? Really enjoying my early morning walkabouts, the warmth of the early morning sunshine is just wonderful.I took a few pics of an interesting bird this morning but the lighting was not right so did not turn out. I wish they would have.
Then we headed into Benson to our book exchanges and searched out a Country Music and Poetry festival thats in the area. Thought it would be fun, but is a very small town event on a ranch in the desert. And after checking things out it appears most of the fun things happening would be late at night and relatively expensive with local bands. We are not really late night people any more, especially out on the backroads here in the desert. Think it is more geared to the local young people in the area.

add to that the leftover macaroni salad from our broasted chicken the other day and we had wonderful supper. |
Thanks for dropping by and hope y'all come back again.

Soon will be time to head back home George!
ReplyDeleteSame for you guys too, hope it warms up there soon.
DeleteThe darned weather could go either way. We have had snow around the first of April, so it's a crap shoot. Maybe you'll bring the warmth back with you. That would work.
ReplyDeleteYes, that is our plan, sunshine and warm.
DeleteEnjoy your last 19/18 days. I hope it's warm back there....but I have my doubts. :)
ReplyDeleteAs long as the snow is gone and it above freezing we can deal with that.
DeleteWhen we're in the warm desert sun, it's hard to imagine other places aren't quite as warm. You might even have to dig out those long pants and sweatshirts before you make it back across the border. Enjoy those Arizona days while you can..
ReplyDeleteI am sad to say the long pants and sweat shorts will be on before we get home.
DeleteOf course I want to know more about the interesting bird ;-)
ReplyDeleteAll I can tell you it was rummaging around in the bush, about the size of a sparrow, kinda gray but had a red head. Does that help?
DeleteI wonder if the CSA (Canadian Snowbird Assoc.) is still working on getting us 8 months South ??
ReplyDeleteWill keep an eye on it sure would be nice, even 7 month would help.
DeleteYou know I love birds.....hope you get another picture to share!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy the sunshine. Arizona has been so nice this winter!
It has been an amazing winter here.
DeleteCurious if you made the salmon patties or bought them premade?
ReplyDeleteBought them frozen, great for the grill on a bun.
