More friends joined us here and enjoying this great weather too.

Where are we today ?
We hanging out here enjoying this great weather and really not wanting to head back to Ontario Canada quite yet.
Its too cold and too much snow back there. So if we do nothing here, at least it is nice, warm and sunny.
Early morning walkabouts are really great as the sun rises and temps warm up. Whats not to like?
walkaway across the creek
looking towards the pool
clubhouse lounge, with a nice fireplace
tv room with piano
Then a quick trip to Benson pick up a few groceries, and a vendor selling nice wooden furniture in the parking lot.
love this "Hot Rod" parked beside me
Now we can enjoy a wonderful afternoon in the shade reading our books for a while between a few more walkabouts, all is good here.
beautiful blue skies from our site
 looking at the Casitas
Shortly after 2 pm  our friends Rob and Pat arrived and snagged a site right beside us.
Once they got all set up we joined them with Ron and Loree for Happy hour. Its been a week or so since we got together. We are all from Rock Glen resort In Ontario.
Suzie getting another Doggie fix with
 Lady Girl and Freddy
thats us flapping our gums, sharing tips and adventures
now passing dogs get to have a social time too
But the hour came to an end, and now can fire up our Weber Q. Grill a couple salmon fillets and fresh asparagus, add this to a tasty rice pilaf I whipped up and a fresh bun from the bakery. We had a very quick and tasty supper.
sure hit the spot
Then afterwords a wonderful Arizona sunset to wrap up another perfect day.
We have only 8 more days here, want to get on the road but not looking forward to the cooler weather in the forecast, So we will just suffer with sunshine and warm weather as long as we can.
Thanks for stopping in and enjoying the sunshine with us, hope you had a good day too!

Enjoy as long as you can! Who knows if spring will ever arrive in Canada this year? But, wait - did I read something about lawn clipping? Maybe there is hope after all and spring will make it to the east coast by August! LOL

  5. What a beautiful resort, St. Davids looks like. We will put it on our list for sure. Interesting that 3 of you are from Rock Glen, we want to check that out this summer for sure. Are the transient sites for anyone, do you know? Or do we need to be a member to stay even for a weekend?

    1. Rock Glen Has some promotions if you sit in for a presentation, mention our name. Or transients can stay but very expensive.

  7. We stayed at St. David for the first time a few weeks ago and agree that it is a nice place to hang out. Enjoy that warm weather and sunshine while you can. It might get nippy going north.

  10. That looks like a very nice place to stay. It's 33 degrees here in Glen Rose, TX this morning... you might want to stay there a while longer and enjoy the weather ;-) By the way, I FINALLY had some fresh asparagus for dinner last night... grilled with a little balsamic vinegar and seasonings. Your photos were so tantalizing!

  11. Looks like another fine day for you guys. Since we're still experiencing below freezing night time temps even here in the southeast and snow is predicted for Ontario, staying put in AZ sounds like a good plan :-)

  16. I can understand the apprehension to heading back for Ontario; given the winter like conditions that refuse to leave there. To continue to enjoy the sun and heat in Arizona will not be taken for granted, I believe.
