Where are we today ?
We hanging out here enjoying this great weather and really not wanting to head back to Ontario Canada quite yet.
Its too cold and too much snow back there. So if we do nothing here, at least it is nice, warm and sunny.
Early morning walkabouts are really great as the sun rises and temps warm up. Whats not to like?

Once they got all set up we joined them with Ron and Loree for Happy hour. Its been a week or so since we got together. We are all from Rock Glen resort In Ontario.

We have only 8 more days here, want to get on the road but not looking forward to the cooler weather in the forecast, So we will just suffer with sunshine and warm weather as long as we can.
Thanks for stopping in and enjoying the sunshine with us, hope you had a good day too!

Enjoy your last week in the south.Skip cut the lawn today so spring must be here on Vancouver Island
ReplyDeleteThats great for you, still too much snow in Ontario.
DeleteNice nice day ... very nice resort! Just wantad to pop in and say good evening ;)
ReplyDeleteHey thanks for poppin in!
DeleteSounds like another great Arizona day! Supper looked yummy!
ReplyDeleteGreat Arizona weather sure can't beat it.
DeleteEnvious! Big time. :)))
ReplyDeleteEnjoy as long as you can! Who knows if spring will ever arrive in Canada this year? But, wait - did I read something about lawn clipping? Maybe there is hope after all and spring will make it to the east coast by August! LOL
Still has time to arrive back home we are waiting......
DeleteWhat a beautiful resort, St. Davids looks like. We will put it on our list for sure. Interesting that 3 of you are from Rock Glen, we want to check that out this summer for sure. Are the transient sites for anyone, do you know? Or do we need to be a member to stay even for a weekend?
ReplyDeleteRock Glen Has some promotions if you sit in for a presentation, mention our name. Or transients can stay but very expensive.
DeleteSnow day here in good 'ol NL I actually get a day off of work and I am still depressed. Hopefully by the time you have to cross back over into Ontario temps will have warmed up.
ReplyDeleteJust dream of sunny warm places that you can enjoy someday.
DeleteThat what we are hoping for, it is gettin a bit milder there right now.
We stayed at St. David for the first time a few weeks ago and agree that it is a nice place to hang out. Enjoy that warm weather and sunshine while you can. It might get nippy going north.
ReplyDeleteWe are enjoying every minute of it.
DeleteAnother great day George... Better soon start looking for your long john's!
ReplyDeleteHmm got rid of those years ago....
DeleteMove slow George. I just checked the Grimsby forecast, their first full 24 hours above freezing in eons happens Thursday.
ReplyDeleteWe are not moving fast at all, but will start moving a bit.
DeleteThat looks like a very nice place to stay. It's 33 degrees here in Glen Rose, TX this morning... you might want to stay there a while longer and enjoy the weather ;-) By the way, I FINALLY had some fresh asparagus for dinner last night... grilled with a little balsamic vinegar and seasonings. Your photos were so tantalizing!
ReplyDeleteGlad you got to enjoy your asparagus, is so tasty. We might be there Apr. 2nd for a few nights.
DeleteLooks like another fine day for you guys. Since we're still experiencing below freezing night time temps even here in the southeast and snow is predicted for Ontario, staying put in AZ sounds like a good plan :-)
ReplyDeleteDon't mind the below freezing at night so much as long as it warms up during the day.
DeleteI'd stay there as long as possible if it were me. The sunny skies and dinner look wonderful.
ReplyDeleteIt is nice and we will stay as long as we can.
DeleteJust a quick note to let you know I was hear before we hit the road in a few minutes on day 2 of our trip home.
ReplyDeleteThanks for taking the time and travel safe.
DeleteDrive as slow as you can and they pull out your woolies :)
ReplyDeleteWe taking our time and hope it will warm up soon,
DeleteFingers crossed that the weather further north will warm up in the next eight days. Wish our bodies could store that warmth of the sun.
ReplyDeleteNow that would be a good thing if we could do that.
DeleteI can understand the apprehension to heading back for Ontario; given the winter like conditions that refuse to leave there. To continue to enjoy the sun and heat in Arizona will not be taken for granted, I believe.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely not taken for granted. This is the beauty of our lifestyle. We are so lucky to be able to enjoy it.
DeleteI'm still 1,000 Miles away from Hamilton, ON and I'm already COLD !! Jeeze, It's a L O N G drive from beautiful Arizona.
ReplyDeleteDenise take your time, still too cold to go back north yet.
