Where are we today ?
Just another wonderful day here in southern California.
So before it gets to hot and busy we headed into Yuma. First stop is Walmart,Suzie needs a hair cut (just a little trim she has long hair). Got there shortly after 9 am and thats all done.
Then the Yuma Indoor marketplace to do a book exchange. They have good deals there on books so we can stock up again. Took in 15 books, walked out with 12 new books and only cost us $12.00, a buck a book. Works for us sure can't beat these deals.
That was enough wandering about for us. Back home for lunch, putter around a bit then now we can enjoy our books in the shade.
Still a very hot day but mostly overcast, so temps in the lower 80's with a nice breeze.
was a perfect day |

Have another great day George and Suzie!
So close, maybe next time, depends where you go from there.
DeleteEveryday is awesome!
I'm now craving asparagus. I have never seen it down here. The veggie truck now carries eggplant from time to time and even had bean sprouts once. Progress but no asparagus, not even in the stores.
ReplyDeleteLove the asparagus, especially nice and fresh like this.
DeleteGreat looking pork chop on the Weber, George. Think I'll have to try that soon.
ReplyDeleteMost everything is good on the Weber Q, Love pork chops too.
DeleteIf I were to buy that asparagus where we're at in Costa Rica, it would cost about $10.00 American. So I buy squash instead :-( Oh well, I can use my imagination and take a bite of your dinner.... ummmm tasty!
ReplyDeleteThats a bonus we have being here, oh so good.
DeleteOh, for asparagus that cheap all year, all over the place! What could be greater than new books to read, delicious food to eat and warm sunshine to relax in? You go, George and Suzie!
