Part 2 of summer vacation, a nice visit from relatives and, a tasty supper.

Where are we today ?
Our nice weather is returning, warmer and blue skies , really just lovin' it. The standard morning coffees, computing and walkabout, chat with a few people and enjoy our books outside for a bit.
Then a quick bite to eat and I head out to do the laundry in town, Suzie sort the stuff and load it in the machines to let them do their magic, while I read my book.
Got back home and find out Suzie's Mom and Dad are driving out for a visit. So a quick trip back to the store, grabbed a chicken to grill (we all love chicken).
They arrived and we had nice visit enjoying this great sunny day.
Then I fired up our Weber Q, threw on 4 potatoes in foil to bake and dropped a chicken sprayed with olive oil and coated with chicken spice. 75 minutes later reading 180 f we done. Steam some broccoli, whipped up a batch of Swiss Chalet dipping saucethat we all love with our chicken and we had and awesome feast.
Our Weber Q-100 does it again
sure hit the spot

Supper done, dishes done, visit a bit more then her Mom and Dad hit the road back home, before it gets dark.
Another fun day here in the life of us fulltime rv'ers. Great company, great weather and a pretty tasty, filling supper to boot.
Thanks for stopping by, (you come visit I cook you supper too). Hope y'all had a great August 1st. This is the beginning of the last half of our summer holidays that I remember as a kid, way back in the last century when I went to school.

  1. George, where to you get the Swiss Chalet Dipping Sauce, at the restaurant or in a grocery store? I'll have to get some of that as we like it too.

  5. Suzie's parents look great. I would be with mom...out in the sun.

I have the same question as Rick. Where can I buy the sauce?

Looks like you two are enjoying the good life full blast!

    1. I buy the sauce in grocery stores, but I believe only in Canada, about $1.50 a package, we always stock up when we head south.

  7. I have found it but have found it is a different consistency, what we have works good on a cheese sandwich, the US Cheese Whiz I found is more like a dip. Maybe they now carry the real stuff, thanks for the tip.
