Where are we today ?
Plattsville Ontario
Well heck, we were supposed to be moving today, but I guess its not happening. Suzie's Dad still in the hospital and MAYBE out tomorrow. Then we will move our home and park our coach in their driveway and help out when we can for a few days.Suzie left just before noon to pick up her mom, go to the Stratford hospital, visit her Dad there, then a Doctor's appointment for her mom in Tavistock and she finally got back here about 6 pm.
In the meantime I had a few errands to run, putter about here (polish headlights on the car) and even got to finally finish a book I have been reading for a few weeks. Just waiting to see what we can do next.

It will be nice when Suzie's dad is back home.
ReplyDeleteBeing retired aren't all weekends long? Or are there just no week days? Be Safe and Enjoy!
It's about time.
Everyday is awesome, just the weekends get pretty busy and we like to lay low.
DeleteHe is older and personally if the hospital will keep him a few extra days, take it. It will help at home if he is more stable. You really have your hands full with family issues, I guess we all do right now.
ReplyDeleteThe two extra days are a bonus.
DeletePretty quiet around here too. Three houses around us are empty, and it's only Friday night. I'm sure others will bug out too.
ReplyDeleteWe have no desire to hit the roads.
Enjoy the peace and quiet.
We will be busy just not travelling too far.
DeleteDon't you just love long driveways? We like them at least long enough for us to pull in. Your plan sounds like a good one to me. It's good for Suzie's dad and it's good for both of you.
ReplyDeleteIt's just long enough and it is level, that will make it handy.
DeleteAll the best to Suzie's Dad.
ReplyDeleteGood job on the headlight...one to go!
Thanks, he is doing pretty good.
DeleteHeadlights done!
The scenery on the grill is fabulous as usual...
ReplyDeleteBox Canyon Mark
Thanks for stopping by Mark.
DeleteNice job on the headlight - and, the grill.
ReplyDeleteBoth headlights done now, and so is the chicken and taters.
DeleteNice job on the headlights. We were planning on having ours done until the car was totaled. Sorry to hear of the health struggles Suzie's mom and dad are dealing with ... it can be so stressful. Take care!
ReplyDeleteCan be stressful but we getting thru it.
DeleteHeadlights easy to do with a ten dollar kits from Walmart.
Sure hope Suzie's Dad is doing better and will be out of the hospital shortly. Nice that you are around to help him and Suzie's Mom out.
